In 6 Days Johnny Cornyn Will Be the Next Establishment Hack to Bite the Dust....

I remember starting a thread last year, saying that the key to cleaning up the Republican Party was to primary the Deep State scumbags. One of the usual idiots here said that I was being stupid because they already tried this with the Tea Party and it doesn't work.
Well, it's working now.
John Thune's goons are falling like flies, and it's a beautiful sight to see.

I’m early voting today. And, with much joy in my heart I will be voting to kick Cornyn to the curb.
And he can take his butt buddy Chip Roy with him!

With the 2028 elections we really should be able to clean house of most of the old RINO guard.
Have to get Thune and Murkowski taken out that cycle.

Michael Berry was giving some SAGE advice and observations in the past couple of days, reflecting back to last year as well.
In it, he reminded us how the Talarico won't be able to compete against EITHER conservative candidate... anything else is misinformation from 'the machine', composed of many parts. Polls, and ads from Democrats AND Cornyn to show support only one conservative was strong enough to defeat, a relatively unknown, unexperienced (but up and coming) liberal.
And he gave examples as proof. Remember when Beto bro's looked like they were going to take Cruz on, twice and it was going to be a nail biter. Yeah, not so much.
And I loved how he pointed out have the media always endorses the weakest conservative candidate in primaries; only to inevitably, always endorse the liberal Democrat in the main election.

KCT, as I just said to Sally in another thread, you're better than this. You just got rid of the one anti-establishment, anti-war, anti-surveillance state, fiscally responsible congressman for an establishment caricature.

I think Bunk is actually crying this morning.

You know, the worst thing the Establishment ever did was steal the 2020 Presidential election from Trump. It gave him 4 years to regroup and come back with a strong plan and a much better team.
The electorate have finally awakened to the reality that these corrupt career politicians have to go.

I'm definitely punching air. But, it's a bit of a win in the long run. He essentially got martyred. No more crying from DeBoar, Trump, or AIPAC about him.

He wanted his Qatari funded candidate to cause the Joos bad sharia law good

It's generational change. Young people are restless. On our side they get rid of the oldsters. On the other side they elect radicals.

Spot on KCT! I have always believed that, one of the best outcomes of the Trump Presidency is…
He lifted the veil to show us who the establishment Republicans really are.
And they were never pro America, they were never pro worker. They were only for personal enrichment.

Trump didn't make Cornyn film that video promoting amnesty. Trump didn't make Cornyn's dumb arse receptive to red flag laws.

But I've been told by esteemed members of this board that Trump is hemorrhaging support.

There’s one person on that list whose voting record is almost the exact opposite of the others.
Look—just because you support Trump (I do too) doesn’t mean you have to abandon free-market and conservative principles to go after someone who’s been on the right side of nearly every major vote. Disagreeing with Trump on a single bill doesn’t suddenly erase a consistently pro-liberty record. On economic issues especially, Massie isn’t just different—he’s operating on an entirely different level.
What’s surprising isn’t just the backlash—it’s how fragile and, frankly, how ideologically inconsistent and flat out hypocritical parts of the modern conservative movement have become.

I think it's been that way for quite a while, probably since the coursework in universities around history, political science, etc., shifted away from truth, and into manufactured grievance (in the 60s I guess.)
How many people in this thread have read basic stuff like "The Law?" My high school and uni econ textbooks pale in comparison to a single Thomas Sowell book. Nobody reads anymore, and they can't build the foundations of a personal ideology that is unshakeable.

Massie's policies or ideas weren't what got him. He voted with Republicans close to 90% of the time. It was the battles he chose and the way he expressed himself.
Surprise!! DC is political.
Massies wasn't a very good politician.
