When Dems process this over the next few days, I think they're going to try to impeach Trump over the Kevin McCarthy phone call.
Hell, they improved over the "constitutional" vote by 2 votes. If they can impeach a third time, and make that same progress each cycle - hell by August, they might get to 67 votes in the Senate.
Anything is better than having Biden on camera, right?

Sadly disappointed that Bill Cassidy joined the Never Trumpers.
I'll be looking for a new senator in the next election.

got 6 years to wait... and recall is damn near impossible
by the time Cassidy's up for reelection... Trump's 2 impeachment trials will be just fodder for the history books
if Cassidy wants another term in 6 years... he'll likely just trot his way to it like he did last November.
ETA: I'm just glad this shite is over and we can move on and look ahead to the midterms

I was gladly wrong. I really thought they were going to fry Trump talking about calling witnesses.
There is a letter from a Cap police officer basically saying it was planned and in all that past Trump rallies in DC he had never seen anything like it.
He described professional dressed para military that did the damage. This was a minimum of their bird dog exposure that would have come out, but they own the media...
Graham told them it would all come out. Maybe Trump told them he would endorse DeSantis in 2024 and cease from hammering the R's?
Cassidy needs to go though ya'll. As well as these loons. (Burr retiring)
GOP Senators voting guilty: Burr, Cassidy, Collins, Murkowski, Romney, Sasse, Toomey

I think the SDNY will suddenly have their grand jury find Trump guilty of something.
this says it all

Schumer's 10 minute speech is a tribute to the stupidity of the deep states and ring's. 80 million people are extremely aware of the big steal, Time did not have to tell us but it will the document of accurate reference not a senate document.
Trump or Trump version two, will be the only Republican able to run for president

57-43 vote huh?
This was better than the previous championship!
I thought the senate only had something like 40+ R votes?
not sure if you're being sarcastic or not... but just in case you're serious... 57 voted to convict but rules state you need 67 (or 2/3 majority) to actually convict... thus he's acquitted

No sarcasm. I respond to the OP title
I'm not paying attention to any of this kabuki theatrics. No apologies for misinterpreting a 57-43 win, but I get it. They voted to convict, not aquit.
