Quote LindseyGrahamSC:
It is my firm belief that the House Managers are trying to investigate the case AFTER it was brought to the Senate.
It is better for the country to go to a final vote.
However, if the body wants witnesses, I am going to insist we have multiple witnesses.
We can start with Speaker Pelosi to answer the question as to whether or not there was credible evidence of pre-planned violence before President Trump spoke?
Whether Speaker Pelosi, due to optics, refused requests by the Capitol Hill Police for additional resources like the National Guard?
Her testimony is incredibly relevant to the incitement charge.

This just became the most important document in Washington DC
The most important questions in the witness depositions will be—exactly what did Nancy Pelosi know & when?

And once again, all these DC politicians have wasted even MORE taxpayer dollars proving over & over their selfish disregard to represent the American people.

Capitol Police Chief Forced to Resign Drops Damning Letter to Pelosi Revealing What Really Happened Ahead of Capitol Riots
quote:
ormer Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund warned the Congress six times about the high risk of impending attacks on the capitol building before the January 6th “insurrection.”
Now, his resignation letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi has surfaced. And it is scathing.
“Perfect hindsight does not change the fact that nothing in our collective experience or our intelligence – including intelligence provided by FBI, Secret Service, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and D.C. Metropolitan Police (MPD) – indicated that a well-coordinated, armed assault on the Capitol might occur on Jan. 6,” Sund wrote. The letter was first obtained by the NY Times.
This intelligence, given at least three days prior to the attack, indicates that the pre-planned riot could not have been “incited” by former President Trump’s speech. Thus, impeachment claims to this point are moot and are fallacious cases of post hoc ergo propter hoc reasoning, which means “after this, therefore because of this.”
Sund’s intelligence explicitly named violent left-wing extremist group Antifa as a “expected” to participate.

So they admitted the McCarthy statement without objection that Trump repeated the "falsehood" that Antifa was attacking the capital. McCarthy denied, then Trump said "well, I guess they are more upset about the election than you."
ETA: I think, just tuning in.

They're scared as shite of Trump supporters, desperation can be heard in their voices. Claiming this was one of the bloodiest attacks on our capital.
Pretty sure when it burned down in the War of 1812 would probably top the few broken windows and Ashli Babbit's blood on the floor.

The former Capitol Police chief said that he notified the U.S. Army five times about the danger in a local interview

I agree, let's end the sideshow already.
Whoever is at the podium for the Dems right now is barely able to see over the podium. fricking little midget.

Assuming there was a deal in place as to the number of votes to acquit, before Trump lawyers agreed to admit this evidence. At this point, seems like both sides want to end this shite show.

5/ If Democrats are pivoting from their "snap" impeachment to a more traditional impeachment that required depositions, hearings, and witnesses the trial could easily last into April - delaying President Biden's entire agenda.
6/ The Democrats are signaling they don't want to call witnesses now, but the cat is out of the bag. If the senate begins to subpoena witnesses and any witness objects this whole mess could end up in #SCOTUS.
7/ Quorum Call in the Senate as Turley points out that Raskin sandbagged the Senate Democrats. He's right.
8/ Sadly the House Managers have decided they don't need any witnesses after all.

If trump team was smart, they would insist on dragging this out into the open, and call as many witnesses that could be determined on film inside the capitol.
They would find its was Antifa and a false flag (as usual)
They are letting dems off the hook east after calling their bluff

They did, and called the dims' bluff. They folded on the threat of calling Pelosi regarding the recommendations of the DC Police and the Sgt. at Arms rejecting.
While Madeleine Dean prattles on about the subjective intent of Trump & that of an undefined 'mob,' (i.e. you, me and any other MAGA), their cowardice is more proof of what happened on Jan 6 than anything else.
Jan 6 was the fricking psyop of all psyops. frick dims, frick Rinos, and frick D.C.
