I understand that Monique registered as a Republican in September 2022.
That means she has a Republican mindset, right? I mean, she's not going to be a liberal democrat in disguise, right?

That's the exact attitude I'd expect.

Oh, and I almost forgot about the rehab farce. That was fun too.

Jan was pretty Milfy looking up until a few years ago. She's a nice lady, I'll probably vote for her too.

2 posts in a row, you’ve ignored that roads and drainage have been fixed which is a major concern if mine

Of course it's not TOTALLY fixed.

But you saw (or maybe you didn't) the vacuum trucks all over town cleaning out the storm drains, for months and months, followed by other projects. Never saw that before, at least in the scope in which I saw it, in addition to other projects aimed at improving drainage.

It's a start...then let's ask the question of who is holding up the dredging of the Vermilion river.

Well, we’re getting a run off. Again, I’m going to vote for Guillory, but I’ve got a terrible feeling that Blanco will win.

Josh has to be feeling a bit uneasy. It’ll come down to turnout, but 60% against him suggests folks may be motivated to turnout to vote for Blanco.

No doubt he’s sweating. It’s amazing how many people in Lafayette “just want a woman in charge” I’m hoping turn out is stupid low and somehow Blanco doesn’t win.

I know they did a bunch of drainage work by my house and re-did pinhook by the oil center which was terrible. Fixing pinhook alone is worth a vote for Josh.

I watched Josh's speech last night and he presented a positive attitude. The runoff will be a low turnout election. So it goes without saying it'll be a get out the vote effort.

The Dems will do their thing. I am attaching the link below to show where the blocks of votes were for Swift and Blanco.

I did not hear Blanco's speech, but I saw determination in her eyes.

However, I did see Jan Swift's interview. She started out calm thanking her family and supporters. Then it built up to her calling out her opponents. She was angry when talking about the arts programs being decimated. She then talked about money for campaigns and said that her opponents were corrupt and that she was not.

Josh did thank her for her efforts during the campaign. Both sides will be seeking her endorsement. We'll see if she has a price!

What dumb shits are voting for a Blanco? Everyone is just supposed to forget what her mother did to our state during Katrina?

Those Swift voters were right/hard right, they won't be voting for a democrat. Plus the black vote will not turn out in the runoff, Guillory will win.

I’m not doubting you because I’m ignorant to the the particulars but what area was Jan Swift more to the right than Josh?
