I noticed it yesterday, if you want to wear it fine. A viral infection and your using a mask that only covers your mouth is hilarious to me because you really need full headgear so your eyes are protected but whatever.

Don't be an arse. It's someone's personal choice to wear or not to wear a mask. I can't stand getting the stink eye from all of the FBKarens in the grocery because I refuse to wear one. You're no different.

I have a few places I have to wear it so I do.
Took my 1.5 year old son to get his shots and the nurse asked if he had a mask
I laughed. What a silly idea.

It's their right to wear a mask.
It's also not soyboys wearing masks scared they're going to get it. The CDC's messaging has been a mess abltj whether the masks even help but the one thing that's been clear is it's not about keeping you from being infected (you'd need a full facemask to cover your eyes), it's keeping you from infecting other people through your breath without knowing you're infected because you don't have symptoms yet.
Anyone saying the mask is about keeping themselves from being sick...yeah, feel free to make fun of them.

You’re gonna end up getting your teeth knocked out. Don’t assume a 30 year old wearing a mask is a sissy.

I’ve had it. The Dave Portnoy rant has set me off. Next time I go to the store I’m going to mock guys in their 20’s and 30’s who are wearing masks.
What if that person is a transplant patient or undergoing chemo and they didn't have someone to shop for them?

It’s not to protect them it’s to reduce them from spreading it unknowingly. Young people are most likely to be asymptomatic or minimally symptomatic and also be super spreaders. They are exactly the population that should be wearing them.
I don’t think this virus is as bad as originally thought and we need to open back up but wearing a mask and doing what we can to slow and second waves seems prudent. If a second wave doesn’t come (very possible) what have we lost?
I’m sure you have heard this many times and we keep having to explain it to you. Why is it so hard for you to understand?

I’m all for the reopening. We’ve flattened the curve and need to get back to life.
But if you harass people wearing masks you are a busybody just like the worst do gooder leftist and are just a different variation of a Karen.

It really has way more to do with keeping you from spreading it out your mouth and nose than keeping you from catching it.
The best way to keep from catching it is to have everyone except you wear masks.

Personally, I get a chuckle out of how many young couples I see out now where the guy has no mask and the girl is wearing one.
You just know it's chapping her arse.

How many cool points do you get for verbally attacking people going about their business?
Thanks for the announcement. I was waiting for you to let us know how to handle it, now we can all follow suit and join you in Nevergonnahappen City.

I'm in my 30s and while I appear completely healthy I've had a long history of respiratory issues, asthma, etc. So when I'm out grocery shopping for myself or my parents who are in their 70s, I'll wear a mask and take every effort to prevent contamination because while I'm at risk, they're at a higher risk. So go frick yourself.

The number 1 rule for any true conservative/libertarian is "Mind your own damn business".
If it isn't affecting others (and it isn't) then you are just being an a-hole...

The CDC (and I’m not a fan) has put out info graphics made to be understood on a 3rd grade level. I know you have seen them explaining this concept and yet here you are demonstrating you still don’t understand.

They might be trying to protect their older parents, or their families, how effective their mask strategy might be, is different battle.
For the most part I like the way the Lafayette area has handled masks, they've taken a you do you and I'll do me approach that I find is consistent with and respectful of our national constitutional principles......
Don't let the Karen's inform your actions and define you bro....
