I'm glad to see many on here are waking up from the Trump spell

Used to you couldn't post anything negative he said or did without being downvoted into oblivion and everyone posting "you got him now" etc. Didn't matter what it was or how much they'd disagree with literally anyone else saying or doing it, most would do complete mental gymnastics in order to defend him.
Now it seems like well over half the board has finally come to realization that the guy isn't the same person they fell in love with campaigning back in 2016. Whether it be his current behavior or people who woke up during his presidency, the spell is broken and Trump truly jumped the shark.
Unfortunately there's still plenty enough who defend at all costs and would rather he be the Republican nominee and lose than he lose to DeSantis even if that means another four years of Biden. And these are people who six months ago thought Ron was fantastic, but all it took was Donald saying something bad about him and all the sudden they make up excuse after excuse about how Ron is this horribly corrupt deep state plant. All Trump had to do was give the signal.
But at least those people are fewer and farther between, and for the sake of the country as a whole hopefully they will be small enough come time to chose and Trump doesn't win the ticket.

A fun day for David is getting a booster shot, then shopping at Target to celebrate, and finishing the day off with an ice-cold Bud Light while his wife pegs him.

Don't forget that many of us know Trump's legal issues and jeopardy are real. We have to think ahead. This country has to survive beyond the era of DJ Trump.

What did Trump do to this country during his presidency that was soooo detrimental?
Hurting a few people’s feelings, including yours? That’s it?

That about sums it up.

We held our noses and voted for him twice. But he does not deserve a third vote.

I think a decent chunk of this board started to waiver when he began attacking Ron early in the year. I guess you can kind of excuse it now as he knew what was coming. The attacks on people like Kayleigh look bad. That was one of his few good hires and she is an ally for the most part. If you want to say she is compromised as she is on Fox now, fine. But, he looks like an imbecile for throwing every former hire under the bus. He could at least do it with more tact than this.

I think part of your confusion stems from the fact that you think everybody who voted for Trump in 2016 was in love with him. I can only speak for myself, but that's crazy talk. When it comes to politicians my vote goes to the person I think is the best option. No love, no devotion, no loyalty. At this point Trump isn't the best option. If he wins the primary, he will be the best option. My "feelings" about him, to the extent that they exist, won't have changed from 4 years ago or 4 minutes ago. He's just an option to vote for or not vote for.

Trump's been acting pretty dumb lately... but you're much worse, so this post strengthens my support for Trump.
