I’m confused as to why ABC is labeling Buttgieg “center/moderate”

ABC
Has the Overton window shifted this much?
Buttgieg Supports:
- later term abortion (until a baby's first breath).
- "free" health insurance for illegal immigrants.
-reparations.
-Elimination of Electoral College
-Medicare for all (who want it) this was ripped to shred by Delaney (D) in that 3rd debate.
-supports Green New Deal
-this was directly from his website on getting rid of “Hate”
2. Name and shame online platforms and other companies that refuse to take steps to curb use by hate groups. Certain platforms like 8chan exist as an alternative space where right-wing and extremist ideology flourishes. These platforms should be regularly monitored by law enforcement.
Please go to his website and see where he is on Issues.
How in the frick is this considered moderate or center?

Well when a plurality of your party reads Karl Marx before they go to bad, this guy does sound pretty moderate.

The media keeps moving where the center further left, so it's clearly getting pretty crowded.

He talks a lot to cover up where he is on the issues, but The Squad should be comfortable with a Mayor Buttwhatever Nomination.
They automatically get hurt with AA's, a lot of them ain't voting for him. They will sit it out, and probably some Hispanics too. The party can run all the buses they want on Election Day, they will not vote for a out in the open homosexual. Not happening.

It's comparative. You may not choose Hillary Clinton to be stranded with on a desert island for the rest of your life. But if your alternative is Maxine Waters you might have to think about it.

Because he enjoys being in the center of two moderately obese men.

I hear he supports all sorts of packing.

Bottom line= OMB
They know the party has gone so far left that has become unappealing. So if they label him center then he becomes more appealing to the voters.

Trump is a “center/moderate”, Buttgieg is well left of that.

Evidently a lot, don't act ignorant. It's an issue in South Carolina as you well know, and party leaders there have admitted such. LINK
They will not vote gay. Period.

Now that you mention it he gets a 6 man majority to pack. Not sure Breyer could handle him

He stands zero chance because the African American community will never vote for a gay candidate. A democrat can't win with that block of votes so his campaign is DOA.

I mean...it is a fact that homosexuality polls extremely poorly in the the African American community. While most would still vote for him because of the D behind (hehe) his name, he would lose a considerable amount of support in that community, as well as the Hispanic community. Its just an absolute fact.
Most on this board wouldn't give a frick about his personal sexuality if he aligned with their political views.

It doesn't matter what your goofy arse thinks. It matters what black voters think, without them the Democrats have ZERO chance.
Buttiwhatever is at ZERO percent among black voters in South Carolina right now. Z-E-R-O. That ain't good. If one third of the AA vote nationwide thinks like that and stays home, the Democrats are dead. And they do think like that.
