1) do you think mental health needs to be less stigmatized and more readily available?
2) is it currently easy, timely, and affordable for people (especially at risk minorities) to receive mental health treatment?
Will requiring gun purchasers to receive mental health screening/testing make receiving mental health treatment for everyone else (especially at risk minorities) cheaper, quicker, and easier to get than it is now?

Ending the war on fatherhood. An active father figure in young kids lives directly leads to better results than the rampant fatherless epidemic that plagues the lower class.
Having someone who is depressed but loves the outdoors and hunting that he won’t be able to have his guns and go hunting because he told his shrink he is super depressed IS NOT how you get people to seek treatment for their issues.

Stop normalizing this behavior by pretending that access to firearms is the problem. There are social and economic problems that need to be addressed.
But, real solutions that will actually help are difficult. Saying it's the guns is easy.
