Beginning on May 7, illegal aliens can no longer fly without a “REAL ID,” according to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Noem. The exception to the new flight identification standard is for those who are self-deporting.
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents began enforcing the REAL ID Act at airports across the United States on Wednesday. Congress passed the REAL ID Act about 20 years ago following the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
In a REAL ID ad posted on social media by DHS Secretary Noem, she reported, “Illegal aliens should not be allowed to fly in the U.S. UNLESS SELF DEPORTING.”

Would love to see the airline people tell them, hey they got you on the wrong plane. Let me help you catch this flight to Mexico City ...

This is who the Real ID thing really pinches. Great to see.

During the previous administration, I witnessed "groups", multiple times, being escorted around the TSA security checkpoints... of course at that point, scattering them throughout the country was intentional...

What happens to foreignors just here on vacation? How do you differentiate an illegal alien with a passport and a vacationer?

There are only 42 countries allowed to enter the USA for a vacation without a visa. None of those countries are countries that are invading us, so that means we can easily ID a Mexican or a Honduran here on a vacation Visa vs an illegal with a passport.

Citizens of 42 countries can travel to the U.S. for tourism or business for up to 90 days without a visa under the VWP. However, they must obtain an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) prior to travel. The ESTA is an online application that screens travelers for eligibility and security risks.

Can they still vote without the real ID ??

I like the concept but in reality I am not sure how this works. You can fly without any ID, let alone real ID, but you are subjected to alternate security protocols. this will be a tough one to sort out.
