If the original fraud was committed on her immigration papers than every time she uses the false birthday on federal papers would extend that crime would it not?
I could see allegations for other types of fraud but not immigration fraud
And if her father committed the original fraud, then it makes this even tougher

So why are you here? And why do you feel the need to lower yourself and start calling posters names?

Sir, we were discussing a father lying about his supposed daughters age to skirt the laws and run out the clock on SOL.
Your entertainment of the idea should get you disbarred.
Even if my views end up being legally correct?

If she was actually 18, and a legal adult, then wouldn't she be just as guilty as her father

Didn't you have multiple melts in this thread when I used "if" to start a response?

You tell me lawyer boy
Posted on 10/12/26 at 7:28 pm to Veritas
Do you think all criminal defense lawyers should be disbarred for arguing against allegations of illegal actions?

Ooh this is getting tasty!

If the lawyer knows they have committed something illegally, yes.

Again, if possible, stop with the immature post. I never melted I asked a simple yes or no question based on the legal findings and you did your normal " if, but and possibly" response. Forget due process and all the legal ramifications...if it were showed in a court of law that she committed fraud should she be arrested and deported

Well that's why lawyers are taught not to ask that question
But not for what you're talking about

Except Omar would not have been a minor dependent. She was an adult. I believe the legal term is co-conspirator.

That is theoretically possible but you'd have to show her knowledge and participation in the scheme

Wouldn't her knowledge of the incorrect birthday and continued use of that birthday not show she was a participant in the scheme

I just don't get your argument. Strategy around the SOL is a valid, legal strategy. A SOL is a law and part of the legal system.
Just like knowing your client committed a crime, while it presents certain potential ethical issues, by itself isn't unethical. The system isn't built around whether or not a person did a crime, its' built around the state proving their argument beyond a reasonable doubt based on evidence.

Oh how the tables have turned.
CNN was “knowingly” participating in the frame job of Trump for Russian collusion and had their cameras and crew, perfectly situated for an early morning raid on Roger Stone.
A weaponized justice system that even coordinated with CNN, to make sure the story dominated the narrative to create a public opinion of “guilt.”
And today CNN was in the complete dark on this raid of Ilhan Omar’s house in DC.
They are caught completely by surprise and don’t know what to say.
But don’t miss the important point that they emphasized at the end.
Long standing DOJ “policy” is to NOT politicize an investigation during the 60 day period before an election.
That’s just a general rule, it’s NOT law.
And that’s the point.
Nobody is above the law, whether it’s 60 days before an election or not.
But this is a much more serious criminal investigation than CNN realizes.
Trump and AG Blanche know that they are going to take a lot of heat from the media and democrats, over the “timing” of this raid.
They know they are going to be “accused” of politicizing this investigation.
And they conducted the raid ANYWAY.
Everything has changed.
A DC judge AUTHORIZED this raid of Omar’s house, only a “few weeks” before the midterms, in spite of the DOJ policy.
The EVIDENCE must be overwhelming.
And we don’t know the judge’s name.
Why?
RICO investigation.
It’s NOT just a criminal investigation involving a FRAUDULENT immigration application.
How do we know?
The government hasn’t named the judge, the case number, or the specific crimes listed in the warrant. The supporting affidavit remains “sealed.”
Ilhan Omar has a “sealed indictment” with her name on it.
She is at the center of a whole lot of stolen taxpayers money in Minnesota, through the Somali community.
She’s directly involved and never thought she would ever be indicted.
She thought she was part of the “protected class.”
Instead, she is going to be made the “face” of ALL the Somali FRAUD in Minnesota and it will destroy the democrat party in that state.
All happening on Columbus Day.
It’s beautiful!
there are four Federal Judges in DC Circuit Court, all four are Dems appointed by a panel of 15 judges which 11 are Dems
whatever was the predicate for the warrant has real legs for a raid inside 60 days of Election Day
