This is an interesting stance to take, while I agree the WOD is tilting at windmills, it is interesting that you feel blacks as a race are inferior and are incapable of not being caught up in it.

What about black on black crime?

Oh please . You are better than this. By they time they get to this stage the social pathologies are already baked in. This is like item number 20 chronologically.

other than giving the state power to do all the negative things they're complaining about

and the destruction of economic ability/productivity if a person tries to escape the cycle of pathology

it still provides an economic outlet for the group, which in large part creates the cultural pathologies at issue
