since his passing. Look at some of the headlines from these news outlets. Many of them mainstream outlets.
New York Times
Rush Limbaugh’s Legacy of Venom: As Trump Rose, ‘It All Sounded Familiar’
Rolling Stone
Rush Limbaugh Did His Best to Ruin America
Time Magazine
Rush Limbaugh Leaves Behind a Conservative Movement No Longer Interested in Truth.
BBC
Rush Limbaugh: Trump leads tributes to divisive US radio host
The Wrap
A Lot of Folks Are Very Happy Rush Limbaugh Is Dead: ‘A Coward and White Supremacist’
HuffPost
Rush Limbaugh, Bigoted King Of Talk Radio, Dies At 70
Politico
Let’s briefly praise Rush Limbaugh—then bury him forever
ABC
Rush Limbaugh, controversial conservative talk show host, has died
Los Angeles Times
Rush Limbaugh died as he lived — dividing America
Even the more tame headlines have to get a biased jab in by labeling him as “controversial” or “divisive”.
Let’s look at an actual unbiased headline:
NPR
Rush Limbaugh, Conservative Radio Titan, Dies at 70
I’m searching for more and will keep updating as I find new garbage headlines.

They Loathe us with every fiber of their being and if they could push a button that would kill 100 million American “ normals” they would. This was them pushing the button to kill one. They won’t miss this opportunity to make their hatred known.

One of these (I think it was Huffpo but not sure) used a tag line in its “article” referring to him as a “spreader of hate” or something like that.
Imagine the absolute lack of self awareness it takes to accuse someone else of being hateful within hours of his wife’s publicly announcing his death.
With hat tip to the man himself, the “drive by media” will never cease to amaze me with their low, revolting hypocrisy and doublespeak. They are loathe some. I wonder how much time these drive bys actually spent listening to Rush. Because if you can possibly refer to him as hateful, you really have no idea what you’re talking about. The best most wonderful thing about him, was how much he LOVED his country and the citizens in it.
He didn’t have children. He was roughly my parents age. I feel that millions of us GenXers who came of intellectual age in the late 80s early 90s - are his legacy.
God bless Rush. I’ll never stop being grateful for the love of country he shared with me, and all of us.
(Chicken, we need a heart emoji just in his honor).

I hate to rain on your adoration of the man. he was a vile and disgusting human. Since you came of intelluctual age in the 1990's" you must have enjoyed his "AIDS updates" on his show set to Dione Warwicks "I'll Never Love this way again" and would honk a horn or ring a bell celebrating their deaths and the misery of their families.
People like you absolutely disgust me that you enjoy and approve of such vile stuff. You are the perfect example of the type that the Left loves to hold up as examples of "Right wing filth".

On second thought, the left can keep you. Please stop edging our way simply because Ole Miss caves...

I am willing to bet you never heard one of those supposed shows from start to finish. If you say you did, I call you a liar.

They hated him with a passion because he was so effective. They hate us for listening and making him the phenomenon he was. Rush could use humor, logic or history to demolish them. For daring to go against the “norms” being forced on us he was public enemy number one to the left. The fact that they attack him now (and us by extension) is no surprise. It’s who they are: jealous, petty and dishonest. I pity them in that respect.

Not that I'm lending any credence to this sudden leftist talking point about Rush, but it's amazing how high up in the pulpit people who support infanticide, rapists on a court or field and narcissistic hollywood addicts, drunks and pedophiles are suddenly getting.
Rush never set anyone's business on fire, he never joined mobs gang-beating innocents in the streets. Yet he's the bad guy...just because you don't like his OPINIONS.
I think you are the vile and disgusting human. Prove me wrong!

OK... Now do your sides grinding up and sucking a tiny innocent baby out of a womb. Just because the "mom" cant deal with the ramifications of her actions.
Many talking heads on the left celebrate what should be universally condemned. There are probably more babies murdered by planned parenthood in a year that all the AIDS deaths ever in America.

Check this am advocate, and check the hit piece on Rush in that sorry rag.

I don’t think either you or Rush are vile and disgusting humans. Hating the opposition wasn’t what Rush was all about. I started listening to him
at some point in the early 90s after Clinton was elected. I never heard him celebrate the death or misfortune of anyone. I did however hear his critics accusing him of doing it, and lumping in all other conservatives with that stereotype (which was entirely a leftist invention). I firmly believe the bile spewed are him from leftists is the result of him bc beating them at their own game (kicking electoral
arse with the Contract with America), and on their own turf (inventing a subset of media and changing it forever). Like others on this thread have said. None of the criticisms I ever heard about Rush came from people who regularly listened or digested his show.
AIDS in the 80s was a hugely politicized issue. I was in middle school at the height of it. (And I’m not even sure if rush was on the air them). So - I don’t remember any of the bell rolling and Dionne Warwicking you refer to. I wasn’t paying close attention at 12.
I do have a sneaking suspicion he was using that kind of rhetorical device to mock hypocrisy on the AIDS issue - as leftists often used this issue, among others to bludgeon the right with it as somehow uncaring about it. For example - I do recall a complete and utter freakout opposing testing for HIV before things like blood donations (which is the literal opposite to the way the left wing in this country has treated Covid - which is honestly and truly far less deadly than AIDS ever was).
Rush mocked hypocrites of all races, genders, religion (or lack thereof), or sexuality
who called other people vile and disgusting as a means of silencing them - without ever even bothering to try and understand them. It was the only thing I ever saw any true animus about from him.

I listened to Rush for years and those headlines are pretty spot on. Apparently he was worse after I stopped listening.

That was Rush’s MO - he highlighted the ridiculous by being ridiculous. Like using the LA Times article entitled “Barack the magic negro” and throwing it back in their face with a spoof of puff the magic dragon.

I think all of that is wrong aw well and certainly don't praise those who do. I'm certainly not going to praise anyone who thinks it's ok to add to the misery of grieving families as he delighted in doing in the 1990's.

Imagine being so empty and soulless that someone dying, whom you didn't know and didn't hurt you in any way, makes you happy.
These people are just evil.
