Which is why my original answer to you said, "by yourself, not much, but as a group, absolutely" your vote can matter.
You just proved my point right here.

If more of the group followed my thinking, a shift could actually occur. The group stands down and follows your reasoning, nothing ever changes.

Again, you're thinking small scope, not big picture.

There's no big picture to your approach. It's just self congratulations.

The idea that people should only vote for 1 of the top 2 candidates is wholely un-American, I imagine you know that.

You "Should" vote for whomever you like. I'm talking about effectiveness. If you want to piss away your vote, I support your right to do so but, you really can't bitch when it's pointed out.

You're still completely whiffing on the point, which I've stated in every post. It has nothing to do with the I party being better.

I know

It's mostly about you being able to act morally superior for doing nothing but doing it loudly.

Ya know, nether you nor the OP even have articulated what you want changed.

It's all platitudes.

Your vote and my vote are equally irrelevant so this point doesn't work.

Considering your post above about the collective, I feel you proved my point already.

You're doing the exact same thing, FYI.

People who vote D or R are to blame. No one else.

False
When have you ever voted and if you didn't vote, the result would have changed? Your vote is no more relevant than mine.

What are you even talking about? This doesn't make any sense.

Are we doing a bit here where we pretend the current 3 party system is doing wonders for Americans?

False again

Playing the one vote game is just a display of ignorance on your part that I can't fix.

to blame for them being in control/in office.

if noone voted for them they wouldn't be there. you can 1A and 1B all you want but the fact is if everyone did like me they wouldn't be in office

Nope

We have a shitstorm of problem. But, it would be helpful to know what it is you think some of the specific ones are.

It's pretty much impossible to evaluate "solutions" without knowing what the stated problem is.

I'm not the one initially claiming votes are wasted, you are. I'm responding that, which is an absurd and completely un-American take, again, you know that already though.

I assume you believe this would result in certain things that currently are, no longer continuing and, that certain things that currently are not........coming into being.

So, out with it.

If I feel that the Ds and Rs can't solve those problems, then discussing the problems are not relevant to this discussion.

Your lack of understanding of elections doesn't compel me to play your silly game.

Because I'm correct.

You want to act as if ALL votes are wasted. Which is stupid. Hell, if it were true, then the OP wouldn't make any sense. Ya know. Because NONE of our votes would actually be responsible for who is in DC!
