Dude. You are way off course here.

It's negligent homicide at the least. Don't kid yourself. Someone died. Accident or not.
It's negligence.

Think drunk drivers driving and wrecking where their passenger is killed. Some times its their own friend that passes. They didn't mean to do it. But it happened. Thats negligent homicide. They still do jail time.

Do you think they shouldn't be charged at all? Get off with a slap on the wrist?

By aiming it? By rubbing it? By shaking it?

This shooting was no accident. Even if it was, it was avoidable.

If the San Francisco law enforcement would have followed the law, Kate would be alive today.

If the shooter in this case had been drunk your analogy might have some relevance.

Accidental shootings even if 100% through negligence are not often prosecuted.

"A San Francisco man accidentally fired his gun as he was cleaning it Wednesday night, shooting his downstairs neighbor in the leg, officials said.
The 24-year-old weapon owner was not arrested — but he was issued a citation for unlawfully discharging a firearm, said Officer Giselle Talkoff, a police spokeswoman]"

Because many of those are between family or friends and the DA's figure it would only cause more pain to the family.

How so? Seems to me that a sober person should know better than a drunk person. If you do something stupid when you're sober, it's stupidity. If you do something stupid when your under the influence, it's often because you're under the influence.

I'm sorry, I'm not giving a habitual criminal illegal the benifit of the doubt in this case.

At a fricking minimum, he was recklessly negligent.

Do you think he had no experience with guns?

If on that day Zarate had saved Steinle from drowning, would you be saying "Kate Steinle is only alive because the immigration law was not followed."? And would you then hold that up as an argument against enforcement of immigration law? Would you be arguing that enforcement of immigration law results in the deaths of Americans?

If a police officer decides not to arrest someone for having a joint- someone with no history of violence- and then later that night the individual murders 3 people, is it fair to the officer to say "Had the officer arrested the man the murders would NOT have occurred! Their blood is on HIS hands!". And would it be fair to fire off that "Anyone who does not endorse zero tolerance for marijuana possession has BLOOD on their hands and are some sick, shameful, disgusting people!!"? You'd sound pretty silly saying that. Just as you do now.

Sanctuary cities are an ipso facto declaration of war against the United States. Send in the military.

This is ridiculous. As long money can be made in the United States they are coming. Texas is a republican strong hold and there's millions of illegals their. So this is a immigration problem that effects everybody.
