Talk about dumb and emotional responses…

The collective hand wringing over Landry’s comments from people like yourself are completely over the top.

You can argue dumb, but clearly you don't understand what "emotional" means

He's had ample room to apologize for his mistake and he's either tripled or quadrupled down at this point.

What else do you expect as a response until he admits his errors?

Landry’s entitled to have his own opinion. Landry’s comments haven’t deprived any one of their First Amendment rights. The same cannot be said of John Bel Edwards’ unconstitutional shuttering of churches in 2020.

Where was you same sense of outrage when Edwards was actually infringing First Amendment rights?

I was under the impression that they go to the locker room during this time to avoid kneeling, which more than one of them would do if they were on the floor.

Is this not correct? The 'that's just what LSU does' response is invalid if that's why they do it.

They were waiting in line for their shots. Wearing BLM George Floyd masks so they could get into a LSU football game. The ONLY school to require the shot to get in.

Landry’s entitled to have his own opinion

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not their own facts.

His issue is factual, which led to a bad opinion.

Again, he's had ample opportunity to admit the mistake (of his understanding of the facts), but instead he's at least tripled down on an opinion that only works by creating a reality built around the wrong facts.

Did Trump not declare a national state of emergency?

Did his administration not promote lockdowns?

Did his administration not push for legislation to pay trillions to support states in locking down?

No state would have locked down without the promise of billions to their coffers and citizens.

Did President Trump issue this proclamation? Or was it the former Governor of Louisiana?

Again, you are more outraged over Landry’s comments than you were over actual constitutional violations committed by the prior Governor.

You literally just made this up

No, I just pointed out the absurdity of your selective outrage.

If Landry starts stripping athletes at public universities of their scholarships for refusing to stand for the National Anthem, then I’ll join with you in condemning him.

Until then…

By making it up

This "selective outrage" only exists in your mind and the letters you typed out in this thread.

It did not occur in actual reality.

Talk about making things up. In an effort to deflect, you blamed Trump for locking down the State of Louisiana, when you knew that was patently false.

Now you claim you were vigorously defending the pastor they arrested in BR during COVID for violating the former governor’s edict?

Give me a break. This is CNN level gas lighting.

“was under the impression that they go to the locker room during this time to avoid kneeling, “

Curious as to what facts gave you this impression? Did the team/coach publish something or give an interview?

If Trump doesn't declare a national emergency and doesn't promise JBE billions, JBE doesn't shut down LA.

They both bear responsibility and I was against all of it.
