Illinois. New York and Cali contribute enough to the GDP to deal with their bullshite, Illinois on the other hand, isn’t worth the head ache.

It sucks how Cook County/Chicago just ruins everything for the rest of the state.

You made me think. New York, because it would be a domino.

There are other states that have really messed up ethics and representatives.

But New York has geography. Kick it out and New England would not be viable because they're too cheap to pay tolls to cross NY. New England would either join NY or become a separate country, wrapped in a flannel shirt of smugness.

AND

this is the biggie

New England would take their twelve Federal senators with them. The Maine senators meh. But ten liberal Democrat Senators would flip the waste of money that goes up there. (Obama shovel ready jobs: tear up perfectly good interstates and rebuild them in one mile segments-the waste was sickening.)

Downside: lobsters would cost more, clam chowder would, too. Port traffic would leave some of the cities up there. Public Broadcasting money would shift away from Bahsten (which doesn't share their big name beggers doing ads when it comes to raising money, anyway).

Upside: Chesapeake Bay could begin to see it's potential as a man enhanced deep water port and rail traffic could shuffle to deliver goods to other states. Western NEw York would probably quit and join Pennsylvania. Northern Counties might join Ontario. Kennedy sphere of influence would shrink.

Not a state, thankfully.

You’re certainly right about the fruits

It would take a very long time to come to an answer but I will nominate Kansas, Illinois, Maryland, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Connecticut.

New York City only. We need California’s farmers, but not the coastal cities.

I immediately thought of California but after more consideration, I'm going with New York. Cali is at least productive with agriculture, New York produces nothing, except rude idiots.

Assuming this to be true, one would think they would like to continue to sell to a market that consumes such a large volume.

Good point. Another reason to ditch them.

Texas.

If they boot us out, they cannot complain about us leaving.

The average person has no idea that a vast majority of today's technology comes straight from Huntsville, ALABAMA.

Cummings Research Park is the second largest research park in the country and the fourth largest in the world. It is one of the world’s leading science and technology business parks, with a mixture of Fortune 500 companies, local and international high-tech enterprises, U.S. space and defense agencies, thriving business incubators and competitive higher-education institutions.

So, yeah.....lets get rid of ALABAMA....LOL

And they do it by stealing all the water from other states.
