“There are fake political operatives in the church and there is a huge battle over property and cash that looks like Grand Theft Auto. There is an election for a new President of the Southern Baptist Convention, and we have a sort of MAGA candidate, Mike Stone who is being destroyed by leftist candidates who want control. We have the left loading up the committees for control and using Critical Race Theory as an excuse to get access to church property and to the members, by using the same tactics to discredit candidates they don’t like, just like we see in national politics.”

A New President that is straight up Biblical and has a backbone.

You local pastor needs to hear from you!

This is the guy trying to get things back on track.

JD Greer and Russ Moore are trying to take this guy out.

JD Greer and Russ Moore need to be pushed away from the SBC

My fellow Southern Baptists, I am honored to endorse Pastor Mike Stone for president of the Southern Baptist Convention. I urge you to drop whatever you are doing and come to Nashville next week. The Awakened must stand up to the Woke.

There is a Pastor’s Conference on June 15, 16, and this weekend they will vote in a rules committee for the direction of the church. The rules will set the direction of the church and whether the membership will make them the woke -Baptists, focusing on LGBTQ and Critical Race Theory.

“I hope that people can support this resolution I submitted to the Southern Baptist Convention. I fear it will be lost in all the screaming about critical race theory. Please, if you can, support it, because I address the corruption and institutional breach of trust relevant here.”

Seminary presidents have sought to impose limits on academic free speech in ways contrary to the American tradition of free discourse and rather similar to the persecution of prophets enacted by the bad kings of the Old Testament,” Lopez wrote.

Every small Southern Baptist Pastor needs to show up.

Give them a call, offer to help with expenses if you can.

From the outside looking it, it seems particularly bizarre that anyone WITHIN the SBC (who would, presumably, consider themselves christians) would advocate for the teaching of CRT in Christian seminaries. Regardless of how you feel about Christianity or CRT, CRT is fundamentally opposed to organized religion and indirectly to the idea of god entirely. The two ideologies are as close to mutually exclusive as you can be without literally being so.

I just don’t understand how anyone can reconcile those worldviews in their mind.

They can't.

The issue here is the same as that of the education system. You have liberals that are more agnostic than believers teaching in Seminaries.

Now those people are the woke people that took over the SBC. Geear is one of those who moved the church into a WOKE direction.

I'm hoping for the correct outcome. Otherwise, I'll no longer be a Southern Baptist.

One other point if the SBC falls it’s just more proof we are nearing the end. We will for sure be entering the time of apostasy spoken of in the Bible.

Apostasy
Rapture
Tribulation
Great Tribulation
2nd coming
1000 year Reign of Christ

CRT is the antithesis of Christianity. It was developed by atheistic Marxists who recognized the opportunity for this to be worshipped as deity-less religion.

I knew an CPA that did work for Opryland for years. He said the whiskey bottle & liquor sales via room service, and porn PPV charges, were off the charts during the SBCs.

Sorta like that former Airline Hwy cruising Pastor's son in BR, that used to have a $500 per month porn site habit a decade ago..

Apple..Tree.

We are all fallen. We are all sinners. That’s why we need a Savior. So what’s your point?

Just because you are a pastor doesn’t mean you are perfect luckily they believe in a forgiving God.

I hate to break it to you, but the church is as corrupt as any organization can be. There is too much money at stake and there is too much power to be had. I come from a family of pretty strong believers who’ve probably not darkened the doorway of a church in over 20 years. I could give you countless examples of corruption and deceit going all the way back to the first church I attended, the same church my mom grew up in and where my mom and dad met. Every subsequent church we ever attended, had its own unique underbelly. I learned a long time ago that you do not need a physical church to believe in god up above. Even had this discussion with my parents last year and my mom finally understood why I was so against going to church even as a kid. I could also sense something was not right in these churches.

The “churches” Paul preached in were houses. Like literally where people lived. I follow the Bible not doctrine of men. That is why I am non-denominational.

And for whoever downvotes every time I mention dispensationalism. Either you are a dispensationalist or you still believe you are under the law of Moses. Can’t be both ways. So if you work on a Saturday or know of anyone that works on a Saturday then you or they should be stoned to death. Law of Moses and it’s 600+ precepts. If you don’t believe we are under the law (which we aren’t) then you are a dispensationalist whether you know it or not.

If I went into detail, you’d probably have a different opinion. My mom still breaks down in tears over a particular incident.

Great so now Baylor will turn Woke just like TCU just did and eventually become as messed up as UT and LSU. Even our State of TX is falling and will be blue for 2022.

I was baptized Southern Baptist and walked away 25 years ago. Wish you all well though, no Christian church should teach CRT.

Thats a very generic description of what anyone would describe as dispensationalism. I would actually describe it as covenant theology.

The United Methodist suggested studying the book, White Fragility. I lowered my offering.

The “educated” are systematically eliminating scriptures that they don’t like.

All sinners are welcome, but the Church is not their to support or endorse sin.
