I am taking my second injection Tuesday. I too have COPD (years of being stupid and smoking) but last year I had pneumonia 4 times, 2 of which I was in ICU. I decided it was in my best interest to have the injection. I didn't have any reactions from the 1st one, hoping the 2nd is as easy!

Like myself, you couldn't afford NOT to take it. Emphysema and chronic bronchitis (also, from years of smoking) had kept me from being able to breathe while wearing a mask, so I was unable to spend hardly any time in public. I can come and go as I please now, and it sure makes things much better.
Also, the 2nd shot made my arm a little more sore than the 1st for a day, but that was the only difference I noticed.
Good luck with your 2nd, and I hope you're as pleased as me about the outcome!

I had the Rona January 1- January 5. It was a Flu type thing. No fun! The Mrs. was sick for 16 days. Pretty miserable.

I will likely not get the shot because I have already had the Rona. I know the antibodies fade but my body has proven the ability to fight it. I don't think my benefits outweigh the risk. The wife will get a shot.

If I had not previously had the Rona I would get the shot for sure.

I have a paper from the county health dept. stating the times and place of my vaccinations that I carry in my wallet. I'm happy to show anyone who would like to see it.

Nope. Already passed on it.

I've been vaccinated naturally by already having the virus. I survived. Why vaccinate against something that barely made me sick?

Risk vs benefit. The risks don't outweigh the benefits for me.

For a bunch of small government conservatives, a lot of you sure do love government red tape.

I’m taking my second shot in about an hr.

Have high risk family members and a baby at home so I’m getting it for them.

If it was just me I would take my chances.

Is it a true vaccine or is it more like the flu shot?

Was offered. Said no. I don't like how the left lies about the vaccine. Claiming that this vaccine is exactly like every other vaccine and if I don't take it, I'm against proven science.

This isn't anything like any other vaccine that has been given out on a mass scale. Ya could argue that this vaccine is still in the experimental phase and no one knows what the mid term and long term affects may be. I'd rather wait until more data comes out, and be sure that it's safe.

If it was made like all previous vaccines..which mainly consisted of a little bit of the virus being included.. I'd have already taken it. I trust that style of vaccine.

No. Because learn what mRNA is and does

Messenger RNA
Messenger RNA (mRNA) is a subtype of RNA. An mRNA molecule carries a portion of the DNA code to other parts of the cell for processing. mRNA is created during transcription. During the transcription process, a single strand of DNA is decoded by RNA polymerase, and mRNA is synthesized.

What happens when there is a mistake in the code? A mistake in transcription or translation? Mutations.
https://elifesciences.org/articles/04300

Below are some images that may serve as a refresher if you don’t remember what we learned in Science class.

Why hijack our mRNA to maybe possibly immunize ourselves against a cold virus for 3 to 6 months with a VERY rushed vaccine that is the first of its kind when we have therapies for the virus that are FAR more safe and have have been around far longer than this vaccine? Lastly, if you have the antibody already, then why vaccinate? The antibody protects you for a few months to potentially a year. The antibody makes the same promise the vaccine does, but without all the risks. One has to wonder—why aren’t they telling us to test for the antibody before vaccinating? At least get the 10 dollar antibody test first.

Remember this??

Oh and the moderna guy is a nutjob. (No i don’t think they are trying to clone us or put a microchip in us, but he obviously cares more about his pocket book/his patent, than your body.) And after reading this article from 2016 I have to wonder from some of the things mentioned what were they up to? Did they know back in 2016 that corona would be unleashed? moderna abruptly abandoned their cancer research for a secretive vaccine program. Was it covid?

https://www.statnews.com/2016/09/13/moderna-therapeutics-biotech-mrna/

REMEMBER THAT ARTICLE WAS PUBLISHED IN 2016.

scientists don’t really fully understand DNA coding and they flat out admit that. At least they USED to......
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2764353/
Some takeaways from that article

I am shocked that more doctors aren’t openly questioning this vaccine. It seems most of them have also become sheople. Sheople MD’s just doing as they are told by the sociopathic global “elite”. Forgetting everything they were taught in school. Forgetting to look at and question and study the science. Interesting that many quit Moderna around 2016, though....
wonder where they are now??

We are all being programmed to stop thinking for ourselves. The Trader Joe’s video was an eye opener. The masked Trader Joe’s workers and shoppers, most of whom likely THINK they are “hippies” are ANYTHING but. They are masked up not even BREATHING freely. They are in lock step with the government. They are mind Controlled soldier zombies lining up for their vaccine. Not asking any logical questions. It’s amazing to watch what’s happening. Truly amazing, yet quite disturbing. They literally fear and LOATHE fellow citizens who simply breathe freely. :(

Never had a flu shot and seem prone to adverse side affects from pres. drugs. Why take chances with a vaccine that has not been tested and no one knows what the long term affects might be. Anybody ever pay attention to the long list of possible adverse drug reactions associated with "approved" drugs offered to cure this and that on tv?

Second shot is now kicking my butt. Managed to work half the day but about an hour ago all this plus chills:

side effects 12-24 hours after getting the shot is normal. “Body aches, maybe a headache, sore arm, lack of energy, that should be expected
