I don't think there will be a shooting war with China but there may be an economic one. They need to be punished for what they did.

There's zero chance we go to war with them. Everything we would need to accomplish from a foreign policy and national security perspective can be accomplished by banning trade with and immigration from the third world.

If there is a product labeled “Made in China” the company doing the selling is about to face a PR nightmare.
The question is will it be short term or long term. Most Americans are lazy and cheap, therefore the China produced products will likely be in demand after the short term.

Agree. If such war ensues, it will be interesting to see how they respond to economic depression. The next virus will be more deadly. OR would they go out with a bang? (I’m no Chinaologist by any means although I have ravaged quite a few Chinese buffets in my time.)

We’ve spent the better part of 7 decades going to war on all the corners of that god forsaken country so we’d never have to put boots on the ground. We’re still at war to their West and have been for almost 20 years. But never say never I guess.

You can’t just go half in on this or they will send another contaminate, you have completely shut off trade and travel. In fact, if one believes this was done intentional or there was such disregard to stopping it that it was extreme neglect, I think we have no other choice
