At least in the case of Podesta.
In the case of the DNC, the idiots running that operation were basically asking for it. They were warned on multiple occasions and did nothing.
The finding on Friday should be how inconceivably close that DNC braintrust came to being gatekeepers to our national secrets. Should scare the sauce out of all Americans.
Trump should drag Brennan in front of the microphones and ask him point blank if it is the CIA's assessment that Russia "hacked the election." They didn't. Brennan and the supposed 17 intel agencies all know that.

Russia may have attempted to "Hack" some of the Systems that were "Hacked".We try our hardest to spy on them any way we can.
I don't think Russia is connected in any way with the Information that was given to WikiLeaks.
The thing,at the least to me,is that I don't give a shite.
The Dems,Clinton,Obama,Podesta,etc. don't want to address the content.Because it exposed all their illegal,immoral,and treasonous acts.
No,they want to demonize the "messenger".They don't want to acknowledge the content.

I think he continues to state it could have been anyone and even if it was Russia it didn't do anything to effect the outcome of the election. What choice does he have? We are not going to see hard evidence either way as it would be classified or not something one side or the other would believe anyway if it is released.
The Intelligence community and the national security complex needs to know with as much certainty as is possible. As citizens we will probably never know unfortunately.
What we can't afford to do is simply dismiss this issue out of hand because either way it is a very serious situation. It is less serious if the Russians were involved than it is for the intelligence community to be actively seeking to undermine the credibility of a duly elected president. Congress needs to do everything it can to get to the bottom of this issue no matter which way it plays out...and they need to do so quickly because the longer it festers the more painful it will become as crazies on both sides start dreaming up and passing off all sorts of conspiracies...

I'm sure Russia was up to know good, but because the DNC phishing email was "consistent with Russian methods" doesn't mean every aspect of the DNC revelations came from external sources.
Do the Russians control Comey? Or was Hillary really up to shady practices.
Were the video releases of DNC members bragging about false flags and other unethical practices filmed by Russian agents?

1. "Russians" have been attempting to "hack" our government and private entities thousands of times a day for years.
2. Any revelation by the intelligence community that "Russians" were attempting to "hack" government and private entities during an election year is not news.
3. The Podesta leak was due to phishing, the DNC leak (not hack) was from an insider, as stated by Assange and members of the NSA. Also, a DNC employee was assassinated 10 days before the DNC leak. His name was Seth Rich.
4. The Podesta leak and the DNC leak are what Democrats are claiming influenced the election. Neither of these had anything to do with Russians. The only reason the Dems care is because these two leaks revealed them to be corrupt, disgusting human beings.
