Was listening to Mark Halperin's YT today. It was about understanding the coming stories. The analogy was Wayne Gretzky saying you don't skate to where the puck is, you skate to where it will be. Trump will deport the criminals and scum of the earth who came into our country. And then we get to the folks who've been here for years, may have and likely have family in the country, some of which may be citizens. They just want to work and be with their families. So the next move will be what we are going to do with them? And I think I heard Trump suggest in some presser that the administration is working on that policy. Hispanics are not Godless communists. I see them en masse in mass in church. So if Trump plays the cards right he will have them in the republican party for generations. And the democrats will want them out of the country.

Dealing with food is a lot different than dealing with a company that builds widgets

If the rumors are indeed true that true Americans refuse to work in the food/farm industry (i think that report is full of shite but whatever - but let's pretend it is true) - A Widget company can easily replace illegals with Americans by offering higher salaries

Americans cannot live on $14/hr jobs (for example) like the illegals can. If the Widget company gets rid of all of their illegals, they will keep trying to hire and keep bumping up the pay until they start getting bites

With food - that's kind of something we shouldn't frick around with (especially since Democrats believe that Americans will not touch that industry (which again, I think is bullshite) - Americans refuse to do those jobs for $14/hr

Individualism and freedom are unique and valued by WASP’s. Sure, you can have assimilation from other cultures when they are the extreme minority in said countries, but expecting the majority of these other cultures to protect those values in the coming generations is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

Bush (w) tried it too. He planned to give citizenship to 12 million illegals in the Secure Borders, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Reform Act of 2007. Of course Lindsey Graham helped draft it.
