What would happen to Isreal without any US aid?

They would not just survive, but thrive. Unshackling Israel from adhering to the foreign policy objectives of the United States would be good for both Israeli and American citizens.

It is the political class in both countries who most benefit from the status quo. What Ron Paul argued during the 2012 GOP primary debates is still applicable today:

Q: “Would you support if Israel attacked to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons?”

A: “…We interfere with them when they deal with their borders, when they want to have peace treaties. We tell what they can do because we buy their allegiance and they sacrifice their sovereignty to us. Then they decide they want to bomb something, that's their business…

…When they bombed the Iraqi missile sites, uh, nuclear site back in the 80s, I was one of the few in Congress that said it's none of our business and Israel should take care of themselves. Israel has 200, 300 nuclear missiles and they can take care of themselves…

…So I think they're quite capable of taking care of themselves. Israel, that whole thing is going to backfire once we go bankrupt and we should be very cautious in our willingness to go to war and send troops without proper declaration by the US Congress…”

The way I see it that is flirting with WWIII. Pick up a history book this is the type of shite that could happen if we back away. Islam is the real enemy and has been for over 50 years.

Islam has been the enemy ever since we supported Israel stealing their land and terrorizing the original occupants. Pick up a book that wasn’t written by neocons and maybe you can learn some of the real history

Why the nonsensical obsession with Israel. Twenty year old Twerps don't understand Israel is keeping you from fighting a war in the Middle East. Israel does our dirty work for us, and doesn't bitch and moan about it incessantly.

I don’t think you understand what many 20 y/o’s think about Israel and the Middle East. There is a feeling we are being used and are overly engaged in that area, and it is not beneficial to the US.

And most 20 y/o's are dumb as shite, haven't matured yet and don't know their backsides from a hole in the ground. So pardon me if I don't take their "take" on situations into consideration. Let them grow up, work a few years, live on their own and then maybe we can have a discussion.

Yeah, your generation is the smartest and wisest that’s ever walked the earth. That’s what the 5 generations said before you.

Well if you’re representative of your generation, they are also dumb as shite and can’t tell the difference between scripture and propaganda. You don’t take any time to learn the actual history and then try to lecture those who do. Shut the frick up and do some research

Israel, as much I support them, has caused the USA some serious issues over the decades! it is time to balance the playing field.

You discounting someone’s argument because of their age will limit you and your ability to be objective. I was like you in your beliefs about Israel, but after numerous discussions and me being presented with solid evidence to support a different narrative, I now question the depth of our support of Israel.

It seems that Trump is begining to as well.

The troon grift, black grift, & Jew grift are all coming to an end. The majority no longer cares about these groups fragility. Sure some from each group will enact violence because of this. That will only speed up the process of ending their collective grifts.

The aid spent in Israel at least is actually affecting outcomes, unlike our own welfare spending back home.

Right. Severely negatively affecting outcomes and contributing to the instability of the region.

Nobody is saying that, but we can look at the obvious signs that we are not a sovereign nation at this point. I would have thought some good ole boys would take offense to American lives being thrown away for the benefit Israeli lives.

Even if the prophecy is true, the Jews running Israel are not the Mizrahi Jews that can be traced back to Judea. The country is run by Ashkenazi Jews from Eastern Europe. They are not even Semitic, they spoke Yiddish and still do in many areas of Israel.

It’s amazing this is the one issue people from across the aisle agree on. In fact it’s only the boomers that still believe Israel is “our greatest ally” and “Gods chosen people” the rest of us see thru it. I guess watching 100s of videos of dead and dying Palestinian children will do that too you…. Amongst other things
