Obamacare is garbage. Not being able to get a replacement bill through after promising "repeal and replace" for 18 months is a colossal Trump failure. I don't care how the Trumpkins here spin it, it just is. Figure it out. Take time. Solve the problem. Work out a deal. Lead. Get off Twitter and the golf course and do the job the voters sent you to Washington to do.

Instead, it is a lot of talk and then massive failure.

Downvote all you want. I'm telling the truth. Who is the President? He has both the House and Senate in his camp. Get it down and don't pass the buck and whine about how they wouldn't cooperate.

Unreal. Obamacare is one of the worst things Obama did. Now we either get a crap bill or we're stuck with Obamacare (most likely)? What a horrendous example of non-leadership by Trump.

I must have missed that section of the Constitution that says the President can present bills.

Actually it is the House leadership that F-ed us. These clowns have been in office longer and have had YYYYYYEEEAARRRRRRSSSSS to wait for this very day to offer a free-market based plan. They even sent a damn repeal to the then President Obama's desk!!

Clowns the whole lot of them.

Where Trump fails is that he isn't calling these clowns out for this shite bill. I'd laugh their arses out of Washington with such an inept bill.

Part of the reason Obama is a shitty President is because he, a Democrat, couldn't work well with Republicans, especially as well as Clinton had.

If Trump, a Republican, can't work well enough with Republicans to repeal Ofrickingbamacare, then he's shittier than any of us thought.

Huh? It's not even his bill. He's been a mediator throughout this entire charade.

This rests solely on Ryan's shoulders. Just because Obama would have rewritten the constitution on a cocktail napkin to get what he wanted doesn't make it right.

What happened to his bill? Did he like this one better?

On Wednesday, Rep. Patrick McHenry — the deputy House whip for the GOP — told reporters at the White House that Trump was meeting with 10 House members who had "myriad concerns" with the bill and that the president was "bringing them closer."

Seems like some work is being done here.

If you are that partisan, as it is evident, nothing proposed by someone other than an dem will be good enough for you.

At least they are working to make their plan better.

Or, they could just pull a Pelosi.

These responses are sad.

Who is the head of the GOP? Trump. Why can't he get his people in line to accomplish one thing lesgislatively that he promised us?

Total dysfunction. Now we blame Congress and give Trump a pass like he's a victim? Where is the leadership?

I've been a critic of Trump but I at least thought he'd repeal and replace the disaster that is Obamacare. The incompetence of this Administration knows no bounds.

Why does any one want obama care to fail?

It makes billions for republican donors and lobbyists.

Google Oscar Kushner and you can clearly see why trump wants the repeal effort to fail.

Maybe, just maybe he wants the legislative branch to get back to legislating. Crazy, I know.

And even though you won't admit it, it's not smart to tether yourself to legislation the way Obama did time after time.

Trump has stepped in it more times than I care to count, but the way he's handling healthcare is right. Force the parties and factions within to hammer it out and get it right. Making people do what you want them to do under threat of political alienation should be left to the feckless dems.

I'm not a Dem. I'm a lifelong conservative Republican. I was Obamacare killed and buried. I want it repealed and replaced. I don't think that health insurance is a right, but it shouldn't cost middle class working people an arm and a leg either.

Trump promised he'd drain the swamp and get results. The swamp is getting refilled and I see no results. I've given him time, but if he punts on repealing and replacing Obamacare, that goes far beyond the cosmetics that I've criticized him over. That is just massive GOP failure and he's the head of the GOP.

Trump needs to produce results here. Failure is not an option. I can't believe you people are giving him a pass here.
