Right? Do you know what the word compromise means? Surely you do, you watched the Dems do it for 4 years under Obama.

"Compromise" to Democrats mean you give them everything they want.

Every politician on both sides, if they can’t come together, strike a deal, and do what’s best for the country then they need to lose their jobs.

It's not being called a "Schumer Shutdown" for nothing.

Nobody should really get credit if it is averted. Do you think the Senate should be congratulated for doing their fricking job?

It isn't really about blame. The Dems are simply pandering the "dreamers" to help increase their base.

They are simply after votes in states like Florida, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

At what point is the problem so systematic that the blame goes beyond party, or even politicians... we accept all this from both sides (or at least our own sides)

And why does anyone deserve credit for putting a band aid on a broken leg?

Unless you see someone fixing the underlying problems?

You complete twit.

It is called basic math, bitch.

Even if EVERY republican voted for the CR, it still would have failed because dems put 800k illegals over keeping government open. Period. It is MATHEMATICALLY impossible for GOP to keep gov open on its own.

Who fricking cares about a shut down? If anything I look at it as a good thing since I want them out of my life.
