You are partially correct. People are moving away from blue areas on their own because of Dem policies.

You massively over or mis state the impacts of this.

The Census will not help or hurt any party—ever—beyond the first election that it kicks in, and that is coincidental. Redistricting immediately corrects anything crazy.

Deportations will have no discernible effect. Internal migration will have very little effect as well.

That’s going to be the case as long as we cap Electoral Votes. CA loses a seat. So does NY. Woohoo Florida gets one maybe. Let’s say NC is after that, but our stupidity has made NC competitive so who does that help?

NC is an example, but it applies to any of the sun and corn belt states that are gaining seats. The population influx isn’t republicans fleeing en masse from the coasts. It’s everyone leaving the coasts.

CA is projected to lose at least 4 congressional seats. Just saying.

Texas and Florida are each projected to gain 4 Electoral College votes after the 2030 Census.

Dems are running out of map.

Curious if anyone will have Trump take the blame for this never ending war.
Trump started it. Likely at the demand of his Israeli overlords, but it’s his doing and his alone. I am going to vote Republican, but certainly can’t fault anyone who doesn't vote in November out of protest.

They'll introduce impeachment papers on the very first day of the next Congress, and things will only blow up more going forward. Oh, and the two loony, TDS-obsessed lawyers will say it's all 100% justified.

Yea, Trump would never go after his political enemies

Sad thing is all this was unnecessary. Literally no one thought that starting a new war was a good idea except Trump. Not US intelligence, not JD Vance, and not even anyone on this board initially. Most were still flippantly asking “what war” in the early days of it because you assumed Trump had a plan to get out quick. He didnt. He did this for his ego because he was still feeling himself from Venezuela

And if they do—they go to increasingly competitive Texas. Check back the morning after Election Day this year to see how Texas is going.

My point is that relying on census fluctuations for anything is asinine.

Dems are running out of map.

And Republicans recede in places like Iowa, Ohio, the upper Midwest, and Arizona, etc.

There is no upcoming panacea that cements GOP power forever. Absent massive electoral changes and a removal of the cap on the Electoral College, we’re in a doom loop of gridlocked congresses and weak POTUS electoral mandates.

Yall need to stop putting your faith in the executive branch. No matter the president.

Congress. You need to fix Congress and hold them accountable.

Then kick out the lobbyists

ETA: the three branches of government are broken (checks and balances) Everything nowadays is executive and judicial.

Judicial system has been telling people for decadeeesssss that Congress needs to fix issues.

Yes. I’ve seen them telling folks they don’t want their vote.

Great strategy. Not sure why those fine folks don’t run for office. Political savants.

Well if you think so, that's good enough for me. I'm sure this martial law thing will turn out just fine.

They won’t - You can’t have a term that is literally one of the greatest in history and lose. Trump has done more good in two years than anyone ever has. It’s been amazing - Everyday it’s an impossible accomplishment no one said could be done be he does it. They don’t call him the GOAT because he sucks

No spin here. People are stupid. Eventually, evil will win.

How did the most vilified man in American political history manage to win the Presidency in 2024, especially given the acute political warfare being waged against him at the time…..and could that approach not be mirrored in this case to another “surprising” degree of success? Just wondering how you would explain the difference/distinction.
