This is not about political party any longer.
It’s been a zero sum game for power and control of the most powerful nation in the world for some time now.
We are closer than anyone should ever want to be to outright kinetic violence but for many in the establishment violence is preferable to their loss of control and status so they will bet everything to get it back.

quote:I mayt not be young, but I'm willing to fight, to the end, for what I believe is the greatest right this country acknowledges; for what our older brothers, fathers and their fathers fought for.
I'm glad I'm not young anymore.
My only word of caution is the obvious - what we witnessed on Jan 6th. Progressives love pushing the conservatives, love their riots and so called 'grass roots' violence. But mayor Murial BowWow, and the rest of the DNC leadership arrested a group who were mostly peaceful that day. Then the FBI was weaponized and tracked down others for months.
I don't care anymore. If a split is required, get it over with. If we have to fight, so be it.
And so, my suggestion, start where the DNC is weakest or be prepared to overwhelm them.
Finally, we should be ready to fight off a foreign threat, who would see opportunity to sow chaos, diversion and destruction at the same time.
But before you think I advocate the above, I'm hopeful that most 'normal' Americans are starting to see how bad the other side is. Young black men especially. Nothing is free, and providing empty promises is all the Democratic party has..

I don't wish to see the Dems drag the country down with them.
It's a little late for that. It already happened.
But worse than that, it happened due to the complicity of the spineless GOPe.

I fear gravely what will happen to this country. I see a violent and ugly civil war
Yeah, it will reshape everything we've ever known about America and change us forever. The conveniences and comforts upon which we have all grown accustomed, will be gone in an instant, and we won't see them return in our lifetimes.
There's a reason I'm always encouraging everyone to start prepping for long term chaos by buying non perishable foods and ammo. Whether we choose to ignore it or not, all the historical tea leaves are right there to read, and they tell a story that conflict is rapidly approaching. Am I going to start it? Hell no. I understand more than most what a civil war would mean for us. I don't want it. But someone is going to start it, and we won't have a choice.
