Agree with that. Let's say, December or after.

Turtle already forced the Dems to play by their rules when he refused to hold a vote on Garland (they insisted that W not nominate anyone in the final year of his term, not that any openings happened).

Now he'll force them to play by their revised rules that they insisted they should use for Garland.

As much as the Democrats will scream bloody murder and call him a hypocrite, Mitch has actually been consistent on this.

Mitch's Rule: When election season has started, and the Office of the President and the Senate are held by opposing parties, then the voters should get to decide.

Because the Presidency and the Senate are held by the same party, then the nomination will go forward.

Though I hope that truly is the case, given the state of our press, they'd say everything was fine if she had been dead for two weeks.

I have not.

That's good to hear.

I think her age and recent health issues make the op hypothetical relevant for conversation regardless of the press release.

I've personally known 3 people with pancreatic cancer. They all died from pancreatic cancer. Even the one who was told they'd got it all.

That shite is savage.

I give her 6 months.

I think if Trump got another conservative confirmed prior to the election it would completely demoralize the democrats and lead to a lower turn out.
