I'll dumb it down for you.

Elon turned on Trump.

MAGA on this board (and indeed throughout the country) turned on Elon en masse.

As a whole.

HTH.

Plenty of MAGAs have argued against Trump cabinet picks.
I'm MAGA to the core and am fine with arguing with people if they are being genuine. Most of the TDS'ers here just want to whine, bitch, gripe and complain. No matter what Trump did, they would be against it.

Say anything remotely negative about Trump here, even if blatantly true, and see how bad you get downvoted into oblivion.

Pompous, pretentious, condescending, arrongant, smug, know-it-all comment. Good little liberal padawan.

I didn't. No one I know did. Maybe you should focus your efforts on "smartening yourself up" instead of "dumbing things down" for others...

Perhaps. I'd argue that those who cannot think/reason for themselves are already in the democrat camp. If he did as you say and some people followed his directions, then he kicked those that didn't follow the directions out of MAGA, you'd have a point. Thing is, he would do none of that.

The dude literally rambled on for an hour about people stealing the country, then he told people to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue and “Fight. Fight like hell!” for their country and they stormed the capitol.

If he told people to key Teslas, some of these people would absolutely start destroying them.

And he’d probably pardon them afterwards.

Not all cults are actively violent.

Lack of physical fitness can play a part. The anger and the hate is there but the lack of physical fitness precludes any operational violence. That restricts activity to the internet.

Got excited for a second there at the thought that they can’t blame us this time. But then I remembered that the He-Man Woman Haters’ club always finds a way to blame us.

You're either intellectually dishonest or too naive possibly for your own good to participate on this board.

I harbor no ill will against you, I promise.

Calling MAGA a "cult" is idiocy from people who are likely jealous that they have no one worthwhile to support.

Perhaps if Trump didn't have so much complete horse shite thrown at him we would be more inclined to believe a legit criticism.

Definitely democrats

absolute authoritarianism
mind-altering practices
a polarized us-vs-them mentality.
Members are typically encouraged not to question or doubt the leader's authority, and they may be punished or shamed for expressing dissent.
Cults often engage in extreme conformity and control, dictating aspects of members' lives, including clothing, food, and relationships."

I really don’t think that narrows it down.

Anyone can cherry pick both parties to suggest they function as cults.

But I think the “single charismatic leader” statement is likely to lead dullards into suggesting the Republican party is a cult, only because the last 4 years had the most non-charismatic President in my lifetime who was obviously not able to function as a leader.

If MAGA was a cult why was Ronald Reagan involved in it 45 years ago.

He said Let’s Make America Great Again.

It isn’t a cult. It is a desire to achieve the promise seen by the Founding Fathers.
