Actually got arrested (I don’t think they will)
I would almost hope that GEOTUS would pardon them privately before a formal arrest in the Oval Office or in the form of a personal visit to their homes.

I dunno, I feel there’s more power in forgiveness....

I totally understand your sentiment but modern American politics is not the place for that anymore. It's a fight to keep the country from going fking socialist.
The left have been in control of the narrative for so long they're spoiled brats. They need a serious arse whipping, and must lose ground.

If you happen to be dealing with honorable people forgiveness is an option, particularly if the crimes were not so egregious. In this political environment the Dims would take forgiveness and kindness as a weakness and merely exploit that weakness. Look what happened to Trump trying to play nice after the election, he got a sham SC for his kindness.
