If Drag Queens intentions are pure, why don't they simply wear their everyday clothes

when reading to kids?
I was once friends with a Drag-Queen who was a drop-dead ringer for Marilyn Monroe.
Michael dressed to the nines every day of his life as a very fashionable, handsome man who just happened to be gay.
His drag was simply for the weekends and special occasions.
Why do those of you supporting this abomination suppose it is so important to these groomers to dress in such an intentionally provocative manner if their intention is simply educating or entertaining kids?

Why do circus clowns wear their makeup when performing for kids? Certainly they could do magic tricks and tie balloon animals in street clothes, right?
Because they are PERFORMERS. It is their NATURE.
Seriously, people, have you ever attended a Drag Show? It is basically burlesque, with folks wearing the "wrong" clothes." Is anyone actually SURPRISED that flamboyant burlesque performers engage in attention-seeking behavior?

I just don’t get why people want to cross dress. People act like social and gender norms are such a terrible thing. Like little Timmy is being mentally damaged because his dad wants him to wear a polo and jeans when they go out for dinner.

Discovery is all in on drag grooming with their show about drag kids with some being under 10.
This drag acceptance has led to normalizing drag kids. Kids dressed like hookers dancing for adults.

We don't usually let cabaret dancers or lingerie models read to kids in the dress of their trade either
clowns are entertainers that in modern times are largely tailored to kids, I just don't see how you're stuck on this comparison
