Everyone keeps talking about a red wave. Is it a red wave if we don’t hold both the House and Senate? I feel a little better reading Larry Shweitkart(sp).

Here’s the scary part. Liberals believe so much what they’re doing is just and noble. And once these efforts don’t turn into impeachment, that’s when they’ll revolt in the streets and who knows how bad that will get.

The MSM and their lackeys are trying to suppress turnout for Trump. Don't fall for it...

They will lose it bigly in 2020 if they win it in 2018.

As if Republicans are trying to reduce the deficit.
Correct. In February, Republican leaders in Congress pushed through a two-year budget deal on Friday that increases spending by nearly $400 billion. And they lie about helping "the average worker." They fought against stimulus bills to help struggling workers after 2008, but now they are giving away enormous tax breaks to corporations and billionaires.
And the notion that corporations use those breaks to "create jobs," is just a snow job. Corporations use those for stock buybacks and we've just had one of the most profound periods of such activity in our history.
But this all illustrates just how much they do not understand economics, and it's full of hypocrisy. (Remember Paul Ryan's 2011 speech about how the debt was going to "capsize" the economy?) Governments should spend during lean times to stimulate growth. In prosperous times, you spend less to reduce deficits. You learn this in first year economics. The Republicans are doing precisely the opposite.

You're correct, the unemployment rate is abysmal right now. No one is hiring...

Democrats openly don’t make the debt a priority. Republicans would have us believe that they are concerned with it, but when it comes to policy, they’re basically Democrats.

Its not because they are different, its because they are wrong, and still have the power to vote.
Glad I’m not like that.

Not fricked

You're correct, the unemployment rate is abysmal right now. No one is hiring... how do people diarrhea out of their mouths. That has to be a genetic trait.
From The Wall Street Journal: "S&P 500 companies bought back a record $189 billion of their own shares in the first quarter, and a similar number—if not more—is expected for the second quarter, according to S&P Dow Jones Indices. By contrast, S&P 500 buybacks totaled no more than $137 billion in any of the six quarters before the tax overhaul."
Tax cuts increase corporate post-tax profitability, which effectively transfers money from the federal government to shareholders. It traditionally has an impact on stock price and shareholder value, but does not translate into changes in operations or hiring. In fact, business investment is still well below its level before the financial crisis. A survey by the Federal Reserve of Atlanta shows that the vast majority of businesses are saying the tax law has had little or no effect on their business plans.
