No one is mentioning the fact that text messages and e-mail was hacked. Who hacked/spied on these emails texts in a private mobile phone?

Traffic snarls vs 4 dead Americans.
NO DOUBT.
Hillary DID NOT answer that call at 3:00 a.m.
She did NOTHING to help a U.S. American ambassador being attacked.
And her excuse for not appearing on the Sunday morning shows is that she was too distressed to appear... Hey, bad shite happens when you're the President. If she can't appear after this, she is wholly unqualified to be President.

No, dumbass. To paraphrase what I think CA is saying is they didn't use due process to uncover this scandal. There was no leak, confession, or search warrant - that it was the government using illicit means (e.g., the NSA spying program) to embarras a potential presidential candidate.
If that's true, it is truly disturbing (aside from Christie's truly disturbing actions).
That said, if it DID happen just imagine the shite that will be uncovered from the Obama administration....

The fact that the Repubs think that Christie is the best thing they can throw at a nomination is pathetic

Yeah seriously, when is the last time you heard a politician apologize, take responsibility, and fire some one in a press conference ?
I mean you people have lost your minds if you think Christie's is coming out with a black eye...
If this doesn't boost his ratings, then America has lost the ability to understand what leadership looks and acts like when mistakes are made.

ironsides, I was just going to try to think that VB was fair and reasonable and I was going to post for him to PLEASE post a link showing the court order. I would be happy.
But he just replied in Rex's thread
Not addressing the issue of how the dept of transportation of NJ's emails and texts were obtained.
I am hoping there is an explanation. But VB will divert and protect and not be reasonable.

Can you please link me to somewhere that says Christie's staff/aid's texts and e-mails were court-ordered as evidence?
VB replied
Do you think the emails have to be court ordered for it to be evidence?

Dr. Carson's assistants had all better have never written anything that can't go public.
But I agree he is a good man I hope he runs. I really liked the movie out on him. Well, it was more of a documentary.

IF Marco Rubio can recover from the self inflicted wound of being part of the Gang of 8, he's very charismatic, has an interesting story, could put a dent in the Hispanic vote, and guarantee Florida- which would be huge.
But that's a big IF. The base is not happy with his immigration snafu.

I think I'm a pretty good estimator of the 'base' (Tea Party)...and they ARE forgiving...IF they believe that a candidate's true nature is one of respect and defense of the Constitution and the individual responsibility/freedom therein. They will understand Rubio's heartfelt desire to help his racial brethren; and his emotional inclination to get on board with a flawed policy. The man believes to his core in the 'American Dream', and personal merit. He fully realizes that it is in danger from the Authoritarian Statists/Progs; and he will be a POSITIVE defender of his vision. The Tea Party will forgive. And..."trust, but verify".
Christie is a Statist, blowhard bully. Period. He is - and has been since pushing Obama over the top - a dead-man-(Conservative flavor)-walking. He just don't know it. Power does that....clouds the vision. Buck fever!
Immigration reform needs handling. Some really good folk from down there. We need em. They need us. Just weed out the trash, thugs and slackers...and shut the border down PERIOD...and it'll be all good.
Rubio would be my pick right now. Thrown in Col. Allen West for a Cabinet post...I'm all in. (We'll need a 'West' by then. Seriously). These Progs have put us all in a bind.

I hope you're right on the TP which I consider myself.
But read message boards(I know that's not empirical), and those who claim to be TP are actually accusing people like Jonah Goldberg as being RINOs.
Of course these could just be a few on the fringe.
I'll tell you this. Have a very close relative who works on the Hill. For a very conservative Rep. And they are tired of being accused of being RINOS.
Someone needs to get all these people together, and make them realize who the real enemy is, and what is actually possible when you only control 1/2 of 1/3.
There's so much you can do.

Nobody is/was gonna beat Hillaty in the first place.
Hopefully the Rs can keep the house and take the senate, because if hillary runs she is not losing. The media will see to that

Any viable Republican candidate will be systematically taken out and Hillary will be our next President.
It's inevitable under the current framework.
Any Rep that shows a little spark will be taken out at the knees by the media with information that will come from God only knows where in the NSA spying era.
Just look at the last couple of days. Imagine if the media went after Benghazi as they have some traffic cones?
The game is fixed.

Republicans EARNED the distrust that the Tea Party lays on them, red. I think that most understand and are pragmatists at heart...but it's like once your wife lies and you find her in the sack with another dude....
Most realize we are on the edge and at a point of no return. Pragmatism nws...there is little left to give.
Honestly, there have been precious few who have stood tall and told the truth re Obama and the Progs. The guy that hollered "liar" while Obama WAS LYING...comes to mind. The Dems wink and nod at flagrant abuse of the IRS on political opposition...and what...business as usual.
Anyway...I just saw Christie's first words and his apology. I believe the guy is sincere. But I'm easy and have a soft spot for repentance.
