The problem is government through fiscal policy is pricing the worker out of the global market. More government isnt going to make that better.
And your solution is to flood the market with cheap labor. Reducing the buying power of American citizens.
Didn't think of that, did you.

The big issue today seems to be one of attempting to have more manufacturing done here rather than abroad. This will prove a tough but to crack, but it’s not inherently anti-freedom.
It depends on the how.
Tariffs are not pro-freedom, for example.
Removing the min wage and overly burdensome OSHA regulations would be pro-freedom, for 2 examples.

Just like workers when automation comes around.
Should we have protested the cotton gin? Printing Press?
These sociopaths told displaced workers to "learn to program". Now, they import programmers at slave wages.

Tell us what his next move should be. You claim the thousands upon thousands of people being undercut on wages by cheap imports need to improve themselves/go do something else.

Thats not my solution, its a market reality.
Because Americans have priced themselves out of the market. If you want to fix it, you do it by innovating, not protecting.

OP is an overly simplistic premise. He’s thinking like a myopic Democrat again. At times, a government can be champions for both labor and capital in a capitalist economy, especially as the pendulum swings too far in either direction. Further, the health of one benefits the other in a balance that regulators can help maintain. A true capitalist understands that they aren’t mutually exclusive.

Bucky is based on this topic. And just because he doesn’t suck Trump’s cock doesn’t mean he’s a cuck. People have a severely warped friend enemy distinction on this board.
And we agree again.

Start a company and hire all American workers at high wages.

Anything but tech. We've known for decades that Asians were passing up Americans academically.

Literal socialist propaganda, especially the "swings too far" language

Meanwhile cheap workers are being imported for every job available, yet it is the American workers problem.

Its a global economy. China can sell better cars for 30% less.
We vote politicians in who continually destroy the dollar. Thats where you should start.
Instead of voting for protections, or for more spending, you should be voting for austerity.

I thought I was pretty explicit but sure let me form the question again.
At what lengths are you willing to go to, to ensure continuous GDP growth in perpetuity? What is the cost you are willing to take on to ensure this?
Are you willing to culturally change an entire society for it?
Are you willing to suppress wages for ~ 80% of the population?
Are you willing to deal with the social fallout from such unfettered will for the dollar?
Where do you draw the line and begin thinking about the people problem and not just the monetary one?
