does Harris get sworn in as the new President on 1/20/21?

Biden is 78 and his mental health is noticeably weakening. No way he maintains office to 82 years old.

Just for fun. What if he wins but is incapacitated before the Electoral College vote?
These questions were a lot more interesting when there was more wiggle room for the electors.

Harris would have been elected VP. The House would vote to select the President. One vote per state. Guess which Party has control in that process?

He will not be forced out prior to the inauguration. After inauguration the media will turn on him.
He will ultimately resign about 6 months to a year after he takes office either due to the 25th amendment or an impeachment trial.
These things take time and there will always be swamp democrats who will defend him.
Then we get a person as president nobody ever wanted to vote for and Elizabeth Warren or some other tard as VP.
most likely the dislike for Kamala and the rebound effect of the democrats running a totally senile and corrupt man could give republicans both the house and senate in 2022.

It is not happening. How do you force out a person who is not president yet? It is just impossible.
It takes time to build an impeachment case against him. The media has to turn on him and and then some democrats will also.

Most Americans do not agree or do not care if he actually gets elected.
It's amazing that this vote will be remotely close. What is wrong with people? I'm disgusted by our country.

Harris could possibly be sworn in as president if Joe can't be sworn in as president.
Section 3, 20th Amendment:
quote:
If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.
This seems kind of vague, though.

and no one should believe that the dems won't eat their own
the laptop is very convenient for democrats and Kamala fits the woke agenda much better for the AOC crowd than Biden

Doesn’t matter. If Biden were to win, imagine who his cabinet appointees would be...HRC, Beto, Bernie, AOC, etc.
Seriously, this country would be done...carbon copy of Venezuela.

The Democrats will either slide Harris up to POTUS or put someone else there if Biden were to win the election but leave or die before the EC votes.

Why would she resign as Speaker to be nominated for VPOTUS, and under what conditions are you envisioning her being confirmed by the Senate?

I’ll make whatever bet you’d like that none of the people listed would be hired by a Biden administration.
