Aye.
And not just now. In the future too.
How many generations did the Biden administration put into debt, for this country's spending?
Three? Maybe Four?

A guy with that much money is not motivated by govt kickbacks into his pocket. He might want to become famous and get lots of adoration. I've got no problem with that.
Guys with that kind of money don’t get that kind of money because they all of a sudden want to stop making money. Dumb.

He isn’t some random rich guy. To think he is doing this for money is so dumb. If anything it will hurt his net worth. 50 percent of the uneducated morons (you) in this country hate him for trying to decrease government inefficiency.

Yes he is, he's not getting a paycheck.

He will reap tons of financial benefit from this
And? The benefit he could reap is a more business-friendly federal environment a stronger economy and a stronger USD.
Oh.
The.
fricking.
Horror.
I sincerely doubt your day-to-day definition of selfishness is so broadly defined, especially when applied to yourself.

Reaping benefits for your efforts down the road and being paid for your time are two different things. And that's ignoring the fact that you're just making shite up in general.

In most cases, I'd agree with you.
There's always exceptional people tho.
Like how Johnny Depp would give parts of his paycheck to members of the set crew when doing his movies.
Or how Donald Trump contributed his pay as President, to charity in his first term.

Musk has received 3 billion from government contracts with starlink.

Just please stop acting like Musk is doing this with no ulterior motives and no benefit.
I know that we are all accustomed to our political and business leaders screwing everyone else over while they plunder and enrich themselves.
I believe our founders and the people of a fledgling United States had a mutual interest in releasing themselves from the grip of government burden. Trump, Elon, and their gang seem to be driving toward cutting the tentacles of government that are killing the American spirit. I think it will benefit those new to power and the rest of us.

And because Tesla was the first meme stock. The company lost money last year but the stock is so high it doesn’t matter.

The only "benefit" he will receive is the opportunity to compete in a more economically healthy society - and the freedom to express his ideas.
