Are you just going to continue to ignore your blatant misunderstanding/interpretation of the cited scripture?

You can still make your point without trying to twist the scripture to support your position.

Old Covenant:
quote:

Psalms 1

[1] Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

New Covenant:
quote:

Luke 17

[3] Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.

For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

Who are you to qualify me as misunderstanding what I read?

First, someone with common sense and the ability to read the many translations and take the scripture in context. Secondly, someone that is NOT trying to twist the scripture to fit my narrative.

Not to mention there are plenty of reputable studies and commentaries available to help someone, such as yourself, if you are struggling with the two points above.

It’s amusing, frankly, that you can read this scripture and take it to literally mean stand in the way/block a sinner from sinning.

Your not understanding the passage you posted

It doesn’t mean standing in their way it means hanging out with them

Walking with, standing with then sitting with

It’s a message about how you become just like them

So this is how the religions make money. They beseech those who do not interpret words as they do. Is the word "religion" even mentioned in the book they have prostituted for centuries?

I do interpret it as "it is none of my business to judge". I am not a judge.

It would have been quicker just to type “I don’t read/comprehend good.”

Have read it twice, including Enoch. No, I do not go to church. How's the POPE doing these days?

Lots of people out there today throwing stones that have also sinned.

You have the original intent wrong.

Sinners walk stand and sit in sin, or in other words their life is consumed by their sin. Instead of following their example, make your life be consumed with focusing and meditating on God's Law. Do this and and you will be blessed.

The verse means to not stand, in the same way sinners stand..

This doesn’t mean what you think it says.

It’s about avoiding sinful influences altogether. It doesn’t mean blocking someone’s way. It’s about avoiding the sinner’s path entirely.
The image created is the path of sin as a well worn path, grass long gone beaten down underfoot, its dirt hard, a shortcut avoiding the longer, harder path of righteousness.
