All states need to get off of the federal teat. This is the correct way forward. The federal government uses this money as a bribe to get states to do things that they otherwise wouldn't do.

I’ve been saying this. The state needs to tell the feds to shove it. Federal mandates have destroyed education in most states. Do NOT allow the feds to dictate anything. Tell them to concentrate on national security

Seems like true freedom would be letting people have abortions whether you agree with them or not, enrolling your kids in a school that teaches what you want them taught and letting others do the same, and letting people make their own choices about their health.
I'm all for less government, but that includes letting people choose stuff I don't agree with. Kinda how it should work on both sides.
This actually sounds like what every liberal fears and says the right really wants deep down.
