Apparently, the focus is on a construction site at the plant and not the production line employees.

The construction contractors would be the most likely culprit. The state should inform the Koreans that the massive plant can be closed if Americans and Koreans aren’t filling permanent positions.
Damn Council lied to the residents, hiding the purpose and water use at the plant. A lot of property values went down because there will be no water. The plant is massive. A lot of pissed off people north of Savannah.

Hyundai had children working somewhere in Montgomery from what I can remember seeing on the news.
It was them and 5 or 6 other Alabama companies in their supply chain. I believe the department of labor took them to court and held them accountable for all those suppliers as well.

LOL. It takes almost nothing to pass Everify. State ID card with no ID# submitted to Feds and a social that matches an ID you have. Our government purposely made it easy and didn’t enforce for the last 20 years. No we are dependent on that skill and labor supply.
Most here disagree but will stand by that if we actually deported all the illegals our economy would tank. An already shitty housing market definitely tanks. Thousands of business go under but hey ..”we win”
Some Einstein explain how you replace millions of workers in a short period?

Would pay to sit all day and watch them try to find a hundred people from Savannah to do those jobs well. Screwing with one of the largest investments into GA isn’t going to help the local economy.

Eliminate welfare, SSDI, SSI, & EBT for starters.

If you re foreign company on our soil you must hire citizens period.

Let's see if we get some plant managers in cuffs.
It's HR. It's ALWYS HR. Every HR department in America needs to be purged. They are all full of leftist activists who undermine American workers every chance they get.

And apparently, most of those arrested WERE illegal Korean nationals.
Which would point to this being a coordinated effort on Hyundai's part.

Yes. You have to. However, they have fake documentation, and it is apparently very good.
I'm sure you have some people doing the **wink wink nod nod** but not everyone.

Student visas and tourist visas.. shut the plant down and turn it into an AI center. Give Paula Dean somewhere to visit.
Lot of Korean families buying tickets back home.
Then inform Hyundai, Montgomery, Al
You are next.

The Fed through previous administrations has done this to us. They refused to enforce the e-verify findings and termination of employment based on an e-verify status was not permitted by employers. The Fed allowed these individuals to “appeal” the status but we all know how keen the Biden admin was on deportations
Eta: would not surprise me for there to be millions of files of failed status that have been allowed to remain employed for years.
