ICE Crashes Newsom's Press Conference

When informed that Governor Newsom was inside a building less than a hundred feet away, and asked if he had any message for the anti-Trump governor, Bovino replied, “Again, we're making Los Angeles and California a safer place. We're going to continue to do that, and they can take that one to the bank and cash it.”

Bovino needs to keep his mouth shut and just do his job. Stunts like this are pretty juvenile. It's one thing for politicians to do stunts like this, but Bovino, is supposed to be a professional. He should let people like Noem do this.

It's one thing for a loony activist to disrupt like Cindy Sheeran, it's another when a Federal bureaucrat pulls a stunt. Let his superiors do that sort of thing, that's what they are there for......or his union head like Homan used to do.
In the end it's a stunt. Trumpists love a show as much as the Loony Libs.

And if his superiors give him directives to show up, is he supposed to ignore the direct order and tell them it's their job to go there and perform his duties?

He should say that "Politics are your job, unless I'm there for some specific job related purpose such as keeping people from crossing the border or aporehending illegals, the rhetoric and political stunts are the jobs of the politicians, political appointees like Homan and Noem and independent activists. Making political statements and engaging in stunts is not what the agents do."

Yes, he should tell them he's not going to do it. Politicians and bureau chiefs in Washington set policy, not the employees.
Really, he should be fired or set on AL and his immediate supervisors called onto the carpet.....it is supposed to be this way.

Please, this had nothing to do with public safety. This was a poke in the eye to Newsom on a political level. They saw an opportunity, Bovino and his guys were willing and enthusiastic to allow themselves to be used.

So, unvetted illegals here pose no public safety threat to legal citizens? Tell that to one of my best friends whose nephew was killed and his son was almost killed by an illegal alien drunk driver--who had been deported three other times--that ran a red light on Christmas day in California a few years ago.
