But the coverage of these arrest will stop new ones from even attempting to come here. That is step one.

Ok. An estimated 7-10 million illegal immigrants crossed the border under Biden’s term alone (6,800 per day). This isn’t even a dent.

We should not deport anyone then.

fricking tool.

Biden averaged 743 deportations per day in 2024 (total 271,484). Why is Trump below that?

Racist piece of shite.

TBoy, you make a strong argument on why the border needs to be completely shut down.

quote:

CE continued to prioritize its enforcement resources by arresting noncitizens with criminal convictions or pending charges. Over 81,312 (71.7%) of the 113,431 arrests were of noncitizens with criminal convictions or pending charges. In contrast, 73,822 (43%) of the 170,590 noncitizens arrested in fiscal year 2023 had criminal histories.

The 81,312 noncitizens with criminal histories arrested had a combined total of 516,050 charges and/or convictions, which include the following serious and violent offenses:

57,081 assaults.
18,579 sexual assaults and sex offenses.
12,895 weapons offenses.
11,822 burglaries.
5,462 robberies.
2,894 homicides.
2,766 kidnappings.

Hopefully cutting off all the free shite will cause more to leave than the deportations.

I don't support complete shutdown, but the unregulated flow of migrant labor has to stop. The result of unregulated migrant labor is an objective harm specifically to the manual trade opportunities for US citizens. That has always been my position.

The 550 were arrests, not deportations.

We know that. But the expectation by the voters is ultimately for deportations of arrested illegals. Arrests are the first step in the process & nice for community safety, but with no deportations, it'd be an empty promise with taxpayers on the dime for 3 daily meals & a cot. Thus, the deportation projections calculated in my post.

quote:

That's an average of 743 deportations per day last year. My guess is that with more focus, funding, and effort, that number will increase.

It better. The minimum number of deportations needs to be around 7,000+ PER DAY over the next 4 years if the goal is to remove the >10,000,000 who entered illegally.
