I wish "lie" wasn't used to describe a difference of opinion. It makes the word meaningless, and that's a word we want to mean something. I don't mean to single you out on this, there are hoards that do it. But the guy you're responding to isn't lying. He just disagrees with you about Trump's chances in AZ and GA.

When one uses the word “can’t” we aren’t talking opinion.

Really?

My opinion is Biden can't win the 2024 general. That's not a lie if you disagree with me and believe he can.

You are correct that he can have an opinion that Trump can’t win. Of course I wasn’t trying to make that point.

I was referring to the defacto statement that Trump CAN’T win that is the basis of said opinion. THAT’S the lie. He’s learned to believe that lie.

So he can have an opinion that there's no way Trump can win, but if he expresses it, it morphs into a lie?

He’s lost 60% of his support. He’s slowed down campaigning tremendously over the past month.

I have said that you are stupid a fair amount in here.

I specifically asked you what DeSantis has done. What policy do you disagree with ? What action has he taken as governor that you disagree with?

You did not answer... why? What policy is wrong?

What specific action did he take that made him not be a potential candidate

They don't like him because he's not MUST SEE TV!

He's boring, which means he's disciplined and doesn't have diarrhea of the mouth like Trump

Well he lost both last time and has only been shitting on the people who didn't vote for him harder since. In GA he threw away 2 Senate seats and went full scale warfare against the most popular Republican in the state. In AZ he wrote about McCain AGAIN just to make sure that McCain voters know he hates them and is forcing Kari Lake on them AGAIN for Senate.

That's 5-10% of the vote in those 2 states that hate Trump and will never vote for him. They see it that Trump must be purged from the GOP even if it costs us another election. It's all about the Suburban vote. College educated, generally upper middle class, and half female, mostly married.

I disagree with them but there is no changing that. I know of 2 people in AZ that fit that category and 3 in Georgia personally and they aren't alone.

Without those states its over before it begins. Trump needs to win them comfortably and focus on Wisconsin/PA/MI. DeSantis wins both easily and puts VA in play in all likelihood, they love Youngkin there (who Trump has also shite on).

Eventually if you tell people you don't want them they listen.

Your attempts to win an argument are humorous. My exact statement was:

quote:

I think you've told yourself this lie so many times, you believe it.

I didn't say it became a lie when he expresses it. That's your invention.

And, you aren't saying that if he lies to himself to the point where he believes it that the original lie is no longer a lie, right?
