Didn't happen, as we already saw in the other thread

These Trump guys have 100% embraced the reflxive projection of the left. Which makes sense if they're going to be pushing Democrat policies.

I realize you think I care. We're talking about you and your ridiculous posturing and dishonest tactics while acusing others of doig what Trump openly does.

I think he's always been a Democrat. See his lies above about who I've voted for.

Do you really think Desantis has a chance? Desantis’ own campaign doesn’t think that.

I have never opined on that. But, rather than be a trump sycophant, tell us what DeSantis has done to take himself out of consideration at least

Right now it's all about "his turn" rather than policy so Hillary trump can try. I've written many posts outlining reasons why trump most likely will not win the general but if you believe he is the messiah keep ruining the party .

He was defending Kasich for years after the 2016 election.

He’s left on every issue except gun control.

Two days ago you were saying (against clear evidence to the contrary) that Desantis hasn’t lost any ground to Vivek over the last 2 months.

There's the other liar.

It's funny how y'all always seem to have one thing in common...

Ah yes. The self-licking ice cream cone of the Trump plurality.

I see the same thing out if Desantis voters. They claim Trump is GOPe. They claim he was pro Fauci. They claim he was pro shutdown.

These are easy to see lies. He’ll, we all loved through it and saw it real time.

But they get thrown out there because it is believed to be effective. Of course, it’s not effective.

Well, drop the "GOP" from your claims and you'd be close.

He’s lost 60% of his support. He’s slowed down campaigning tremendously over the past month. Spending has to be down significantly. He fired a large portion of his campaign staff including his campaign manager. Their stated objectives of winning Iowa have changed to a strong 2nd. They know he can’t catch Trump.

He certainly CAN win. He’s polling ahead if Biden right now…which is a better position than when he beat Hillary and in 2020.

His biggest obstacles are people like yourself in the Republican Party. It’s people like you that make Dems feel invincible.

You're all in and only in on the only candidate who actively campaigns for Democrats.

He’s lost 11 points in RCP Averages over that timeframe.

Me explaining this the first time

RCP averages

FWIW, he has lost another .5% since then. His lead is now down to 5% over Vivek.

Now, I can’t ignore that you deny this in a thread where you accuse others of being blatantly dishonest.

RCP averaged over time are worthless. It's not an accumulation. He is jumping from about 12 to 18 to near 20. While Vivek is still about seven to twelve or thirteen depending on what day and who is running the polls. Just because you keep saying it doesn't mske it true. Nothing has changed in two months, which is suspicious in and of itself. Your narrative has been screeched by Trump and you parrot like a good little pet. Doesn't make it true. Or you honest.

Before we discuss this, let’s see what we can agree on. I need to understand whether you are being dishonest or just rejecting data.

Do you agree / admit that the RCP Averages show Desantis losing 11+ points to Vivek since mid July?

So the bar is being better than McCain or Romney and can squeak out an Electoral win? The bar should be Reagan.

Dude, your party has pushed (and been able to nominate) Bush, McCain, and Romney. It was disastrous. In 2016, AFTER THIS, your party thought it was appropriate to push ANOTHER frickING BUSH, for president.

Exactly what else do you need to see to understand that the Republican party doesn't want what you want?

From a practical standpoint, Desantis can't win the primary. I think 99% of honest people will admit that. If he somehow did win, he can't win the general. All of the analysis on independents is meaningless because he won't get a significant portion of Republican votes.

You want a Reagan landslide. That's not realistic.

I've always tried to help more conservative candidates win but in the end you have to support the lesser of 2 evils. If we have to vote for Trump so be it but he will lose because he can't win AZ or GA and his recent push to get Lake as the Senate candidate in AZ is making sure he can't win. Trump has no plan for ballot harvesting or ground game other than hoping he gets volunteers while the Dems have their machine in full force. He'll complain of course and they will just laugh at him.

When DeSantis is eliminated in Delegate count then he can't win. As of now it's over 4 months from the first ballot even being cast. Trump has a big lead in the polls but those things can shift fast.

As for the General it still comes down to the 2 Swing groups that have decided all the elections in my lifetime, Suburban voters (esp women) and Catholics. I don't know what world you think Trump is actually a better candidate with those groups than DeSantis and don't show me some BS national poll 14 months from the election. I've been following politics way too long. Quit getting distracted by the shiny objects and pay attention to what is actually going on, you are being played to support a guy who can't win and ensure the Dems a Goldwater style victory a year from now.

Trump is fun I'll give him that, it's almost too easy to support a dude who goes around signing girls tits while he is pushing 80. He's got no real shot at winning though.

I think you've told yourself this lie so many times, you believe it.

Of course he can win both of those two states.
