The Dems melting is something to watch. They believed that the election of Obama was the beginning of a long-term reign for their Progressive attitudes. They believe the black vote was safely in their back pocket and their intent was to turn the Hispanic vote into the same thing. Keep them on the same Plantation they've managed to keep African Americans since the Great Society programs of the 60s.

Trump is their worst nightmare. He owes no allegiance to any of the old line political structures of DC. They thought he was a joke but now I realize that he is intent on carrying out his campaign promises. They are in full panic mode and don't have any type of solid leadership. Pelosi on CNN was incredible to watch.

Was able to stomach a few minutes of Morning Joe this morning. What they were saying was, of course, Very predictable. Their body language spoke volumes. I think this whole thing is going to get even better between now and the 2018 midterms.

Trump will never receive a significant portion of black female votes but if he starts getting black male votes and starts convincing Hispanics that a strong economy is better than welfare, the Democratic party as we know it is doomed. This is partly the reason they are freaking out so bad. Calling what is essentially a Democrat from New York a racist is a desperate attempt to keep the black vote and keep on course to turn the Hispanic vote into another captive voting Bloc.

It's been a real study in those so smug and assured enough of themselves that they could enthusiastically participate in creating a chimera, sustaining it, and that by somehow wishing hard enough they could force it to reify and become a reality.

One surprising turnabout in it all is the stark contrast between this present new awareness, preoccupation, even contempt for things Russian and that one-sided admiration society they've had with them going back to at least Brezhnev and culminating with that real embarrassing slobber-fest with Gorbachev - and ostensibly all because they believed the promises of "equality" that they were hearing about the Russian system.

And the admiration continued up until these times, but mysteriously ending late night Nov. 8 of '16.
