We need more people like Yang in politics. Forget about some of the policies we disagree with, he’s got like 77 policy ideas on his website. Kamala Harris and Corey Booker have none.

He’s an interesting man

Yeah, realy. That $1000 a month should require that dude come over and mow my yard, clean my gutters, weed my flower beds and spread mulch, paint the doors, strip the floors and reseal, walk my dog, clean the pool and put in new chemicals, clean out the pool filter, rake the leaves, pressure wash my driveway and sidewalks, and trim the hedges.

Give people a $1000 a month? Fine, but make it so productive people like me and others have time to make enough money to raise the taxes so they can get paid.

As if Yang can get Congress to fix itself? If he's serious, he needs to wait until Trump has fully broken them, then by 2024 throw this message out there.

Imagine when our useless cretins run out of that $1000 within days. UBI in America would go over like a wet fart

I’ve discussed universal income w a lib friend and it is interesting if we get rid of the rest of welfare, but I doubt that would be possible. If you could, this would be much much cheaper

That is exactly what Andrew advocates with his Freedom Dividend.

He isn't going to win a Dem nomination getting rid of handouts.

A "shaming" post.

A bit judgmental.

Universal income with no strings attached isn't a "data driven policy"

It actually is when you see how AI and automation are going to destroy the economy and place millions of workers out of work. You don’t oppose companies paying dividends do you? The Freedom Dividend is no different.

what? It is against the law for a corporation to pay a dividend if it will cause them to become insolvent. Until the US is solvent....it most certainly is not the same thing.

If you gave everyone $1000 a month and free health care the country would crash or everyone’s pay would have to atleast double if not triple. Then that $1000 is basically worthless.

It all starts with Universal Basic Income for every American adult: $1,000 a month, no strings attached.
How do people not realize that if every person gets $1,000/month that that will equal $0 in practice?
