We took a Houston trip to get away from masks. These fricking mask Nazis are everywhere in Houston. It's worse here than in Baton Rouge

I was in Houston last weekend. Never encountered mask nazis. Used the gym at the Marriott Marquis with no mask and had no problem.

You went to a large city with the teenage county judge

What did you expect, tard?

You still don’t have to wear it

I find it amazing the difference in mask perspective in different cities.

I live in Mobile and theres only a few total mask nazi establishments - travelled to Birmingham, man not a step anywhere without a mask.

These azzholes wont know what to do when meemaw lifts the mandate on Friday.

I'm staying at a high end hotel and they seem to be more woke and snotty. Should have stayed at a motel 6.

But this seems to be a Harris County deal. Can a county override a state?

Not by law though. Private businesses can enforce masks at their leisure.

Where did you go. Its a big city. I'm sure the hipsters and democrats in the heights want you to wear 2 masks. But up in Tomball its wide open

I wish they’d all kill themselves

I think those are the people the virus was originally after anyway from a general standpoint

Houston

Found your problem.

My parents are in from West Texas in a decent sized town (100k) and nobody wears masks. They said their Walmart is completely mask free.

They run a business that does a lot of contracts with the government and the only people that wear masks in their place of business are government employees who have been told they have to wear them in public.

Many private businesses are still asking/requiring people to wear masks. That’s their choice, just like no shoes, no service. It’s your choice whether or not to still patron said establishments.

The meat market in Rosenberg I like going to removed their masks required sign the hour Greg Abbott lifted the state-wide mandate.

It's a damn shame that the two Texas cities named after the two greatest and most revered Texans ever, Austin and Houston, are the two most woke localities in the state, and have been for a very long time. It's effed up.

It’s the private businesses. Still more open than Louisiana minus the masks.

Don’t know where you visited from, but I think it’s an urban/rural thing. I’ve made similar observations when we leave south GA and go to ATL and play travel ball.

That's waaay too harsh an assessment. County commissioner Lina Hidalgo is concerned about the safety of the community.
