What about the Hadith? I don't know if it's in there or not. I'm just asking.

My understanding of Hadith is similar to the African 'oral history.' Don't recall it mentioned in the Quaran but I read it almost 50 years ago.

I don't believe in the accuracy of oral history. This is also problematic with Christianity since none of the disciples were taking notes while Jesus was talking.

I read the Quran in college. There is nothing about beheading children. However, the vast majority of Muslims are illiterate. They do not read the Quaran. They listen to the teachings of the Mullahs (many of whom are also illiterate and have never read the Quaran).

So, if the Mullah says it's OK to behead children, then they believe it.

A few years ago, CNN's Fareed Zakaria had a British-born Al Qaeda wannabe on his show to discuss the Koran. Of course the fundamentalist denounced Zakaria as being an apostate Muslim because of his Western lifestyle, but during the course of the debate, it was obvious that Zakaria had a much better command of the Koran than the fundementalist did, and that all the fundamentalist could was repeat a bunch of made-up stuff that he heard from some Mullah, but which wasn't in the Koran.

"The Hour [of Resurrection] will not come until you fight the Jews. And the Jew will hide behind the stones or trees and the stones and the trees will cry out: 'Oh Muslim, servant of Allah, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come, come and behead him.'”

Doesn't say "go behead children" it says go behead anyone, man, woman or child, who is a Jew or infidel.

Don't be silly. Everything you hear from the media, government and politicians is truth. You never have reason to doubt it.

I'm skeptical as well but it wouldn't surprise me at all. Those "people" are animals.

Exactly. The thing I took away most from the Koran which I featured in my term paper was the idea of "Allah is watching you." Very similar to "God is watching you" among Christians and Jews.

But for Arabs it was essential. In the time of Mohammed there were no Arab nations...only tribes occupying and traveling along geographic routes.

If 5 members of a tribe riding through the desert encountered 2 members of another tribe there was no reason for the larger group not to kill the smaller group and take their stuff. No one would ever know in the middle of the desert.

The Koran explicitly says that strangers who believe in Allah should be treated with kindness and not taken advantage of.

The Koran probably saved a million Arabs from murder by other Arabs in the last 1,000 years. And that number has nothing to do with actual wars. Just personal murders.

The key to defeating ISIS is cutting off the financial assiztance it gets from Arabs in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. It all smells fishy how these barbarians are highly trained and have advanced weaponry.

ISIS no longer needs handouts. They have all the money they can spend.

They are selling oil

I keep thinking this will happen, but I'm starting to believe he is just a very dedicated troll and not the conspiracy theorist everyone believes him to be.

The truly "enlightened" want nothing more than to tell you exactly what is happening in the world.

People are being beheaded. Every person is someones child. My aunt is over 90 and her daughter is over 70, her daughter is dying. She is older but still her child. The murder of children is wrong. There are innocent people being beheaded because they are Christian are people who believe differently. Can anyone justify this?

No more than you can justify murder for profit, which nearly everyone on this board seems to be doing on a daily basis. Ignorance is not an excuse.
