Last week, I called Clay Higgins dumb as a brick, or something like that. I've met the man and was less than impressed with him.
This week, I have watched two youtube clips where Higgins destroyed an environmental activist using nothing but a few well timed words and another where he told Homeland Security Secretary he should resign before he's impeached by the next Congress. I applaud Higgins for saying what most people in Louisiana think and feel. Somebody has to say it. Higgins has the stones to say it.

He is the real life version of Kennedys good ole boy act.

He has certainly toned down the Cajun John Wayne act. He votes the right way, so Im not mad at him.

I like him bc lots of time for his constituents and listens to them.
For a politician - sincerity is a rarity. He’s nothing of not sincere.

He is a legitimate salt of the earth kind of guy. While I have not had a lot of interaction with him, I have friends who have, and continue to work and assist him in his work, and they all agree, he is authentic.

Thanks for the link, especially the first.

Clay is rock solid.
He's not polished, but he's good as his word, which is hard to find particularly among Louisiana politicians.
And you will not meet a nicer, friendlier guy in person than Clay Higgins.
He's a perfect congressman for southwest Louisiana. There might not be a better representative for the people of a district than Clay Higgins is.

Love all these so called environmentalist woke hippies that walk around with their noses up in the air like they are above everyone else preaching about how bad the oil industry is yet they would t have all those great little feature confirms they enjoy without oil for the shipping industry and transpiration that shipped the clothes on her back and shoes on her feet. And even if she drive an electric car there’s a good chance most of the parts for it came from overseas. It’s easy to spit out high minded ideas but another thing to actually think it through and come up viable alternatives. Something tells me that bitch wouldn’t like being back in the 19th century riding a horse to get her ridiculous hairdo done.
