You see the mob takes the Fifth. If you're innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?

Yeah. I bet he regrets making that statement. Oh well. We can move on. Obviously that isn’t the case.

“I once asked, ‘If you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?’ Now I know the answer to that question,” he said in his statement, calling the probe “a vindictive and self-serving fishing expedition.”
Nothing more to add wild?

Trump lawyer Ronald Fischetti had said he’d advise Trump to take the Fifth unless given legal immunity for his answers, though Fischetti complained that publicity surrounding such a choice now could harm Trump’s defense if there’s a criminal charge down the road.
Maybe trump shouldnt listen to experts, or maybe he should, or maybe some of yall have serious tds.

I've been willing to hold him to it, but I can't find a single person who will tell me what it now means I'm supposed to see him as "guilty" of.

How is that obvious?
The guy allegedly made a fortune in the NYC real estate market in the 80s. You don't do that unless you're two things: A democrat, and connected to organized crime. (Okay, so that's really just one thing.)

good point.

Obviously pleading the 5th does not mean you are for sure guilty. You disagree?

Is that what this case is about. Real estate in the 80s?

If you are innocent then why ask for a lawyer when being questioned by the police? Why do we even need constitutional rights?
I know if the entire corrupt Democrat led government had a personal vendetta against me like they do Trump, I would work to give them as much information as possible. That just makes sense. I mean, they already tried to frame him for a least one crime, so why not help them do it again, right?

NY must have some goofy statutes of limitations.

I think you have it covered here:

unless given legal immunity for his answers
Why in the world would he ever need immunity from crimes he didn't commit?

Maybe trump shouldnt listen to experts or maybe he should
Yeah, Ima hafta go with "shouldn't".

It turns out "Trump Derangement Syndrome" doesn't mean what you think it means.

Which crimes are you referring to? Do you think exercising any of your constitutional rights when it comes to the criminal justice system means you are automatically guilty?
If they weren’t guilty they wouldn’t have been arrested amirite?

Perhaps you should research Mike Flynn and that debacle.
That’s why.

Hey. Let’s start with who can read a teleprompter, put on a coat with no help, and ride a bicycle. Then we can go from there.

You are embarrassing yourself. As TDS-sufferers are wont to do.

The ones he wants immunity from, obviously.

Nope. But then, I've never had to ask for immunity from prosecution for crimes I didn't commit.

No, you're wrong. Innocent people are arrested all the time. But no one has ever gotten immunity from prosecution for crimes they didn't commit.
It's one thing to plead the fifth, it's quite another to ask for immunity.
