My father was well traveled like you. He lived and worked all over the world. Some of those places have good families in Africa and the Caribbean, but many are plagued with high crime and violence. In fact safety can be pretty dicey in many African countries and the Caribbean if you are white or any color.

I would agree that the Caribbean is more susceptible to crime than say, west Africa. I have a theory I’ve been thinking about. That anglophone black countries tend to be worse than francophone black countries. Of course that doesn’t explain Haiti. And my experience are all anecdotal and I haven’t researched any data. I will say that Haiti is organized crime that actually runs most of the country compared to random drug or gang violence that we see here in the states.
Perhaps it’s places with former slaves that have the most problems. Maybe that has to do with the the people that were selected to be slaves. I don’t have all the answers

Why are we spending time and money incarcerating those who commit 1st degree murder? Are we studying these people, looking for a strand of cause for re-engineering or are we just making sure many get paid who love to argue their innocence based on errors?

bullshite. As pointed out in another post, Asians, Indians, or any other minority in the inner city aren’t committing these violent crimes in blatant daylight completely unprovoked. There is a common theme here and you are purposely ignoring it. Grow a set of balls or quit making excuses for black criminal behavior and call a spade a spade. This shite only stops when it is confronted and controlled. At this point, every single race is justified in feeling and should feel fatigue from this

I was talking about the mainstream culture in the US making every excuse possible for bad behavior when it's perpetrated by certain groups.
Black people act like criminals, but it's white people's fault.

The black dudes at my job can confirm this. They're most comfortable (and most popular) when hanging around white folks. And we're in the redneck heart of central Oklahoma, for what that's worth.
