The state needs to take over Jackson. Bring in the National Guard for security and the infrastructure rebuild like Frank Melton suggested years ago. Going to need a big jail, but they can build one of those too. Install George Flaggs as the overseer which should help appease the residents.

A Madison police office said she had to be doing 50-60 MPH when she hit the tilted manhole cover.

Am I correct to assume this was is a residential neighborhood?

Ridgewood isn’t exactly a residential street. Sure...people live on it, but it’s a thruway. Which most folks do cruise at a pretty good pace on...

I blame the white leftists.

They conditioned the culture to be more accepting of lesser standards.

I went through Jackson Friday on my way to Tupelo. It's sad to see how much that city has regressed. At least 55 north was somewhat better than it's been the past three years or so.

Doubt she was flying down the road at 50 or more. It was a small Mazda convertible. Small wheel hit hole just right and it flipped.

Geaux to youtube and you will find videos of similar wrecks. There is one of a big SUV hitting a manhole the wrong way and flipping.

Yeah, Jackson is so bad. It’s just gone. Turned down some big money to move there. He’ll no, not worth putting myself and family at risk.

Who is paying "big money" in Jackson?

Our state has only grown 1% in the past 8 years.

No one has to pay big money.

They need to turn the MetroCenter mall into a new jail.

There's plenty of space. Most of the building is already vacant.

UMMC is shedding doc's real fast. 4% salary reduction last year.

The lady at the helm doesn't have a clue.

But we do have trauma here, no doubt.
